Jesus H Christ. Nowhere did they say "postpaid customers" or "postpaid accounts". They said "postpaid carrier." If you're going to read the fine print literally, read it literally. They also advertised this as "Stopped being ripped off by Verizon", and they also say the only eligible iPhone 7 is the Verizon model. None of that is true. You don't have to be with Verizon! Moreover, they're approving phones and accepting money for SIMs from people with prepaid accounts at postpaid carriers. People worrying about this are just like the knuckleheads wringing their hands over whether it's a hard of soft credit pull. You are some ridiculous people.

This is what I am concluding - Wouldnt the burden lie on them and not us? We came here with our prepaid accounts, they "check" edibility - when I called the sales rep about this and and to activate my phones/sim they read to me the "terms and conditions" not once did they said

"ohhh and this promotion only is good for postpaid accounts and NOT prepaid"

Its their job to catch prepaid accounts IF their advertisement is meant for postpaid only. At the very worse I can seem them cancelling our services and thats it because its their own wording against them.

I might be having the same issue you had. I got my SIM today and activated it online almost 3 hours ago. Not really any indication of porting success, but it did go to the confirmation page and sent me an e-mail saying my phone should activate in 10 minutes, etc.

I put the sim in my Nexus 6 like 30 minutes later and it won't get past "Configuring your cellular network" and I have no service. Got on chat and it sounded like they couldn't access my account and I was transferred awhile ago, but still on hold waiting for a new representative to look into it.

If you think this may be the same issue you had, any advice on fixing this? Don't have another phone number to call from right now, but guess I could call with my Verizon SIM while it is still active (assuming it is, not positive).
If your Verizon SIM is still working, then I would think the issue is with the number porting from Verizon to Sprint. If this is the case, there isn't anything you'll be able to do on the phone to fix this.

I also used a Nexus 6 to get this deal. I didn't even insert the Sprint SIM into the Nexus until I lost service with my previous carrier, which was MintSim. I didn't immediately have service after inserting the Sprint SIM so I did the following (as best as I can remember):

1) Went to the Settings page of the Nexus to change the APN settings but I couldn't find it since the settings page changed with the different SIM card.

2) Went to Settings>More>Cellular networks. I changed the Preferred network type to LTE (it was at "Global"). Still no service.

3) Went to Carrier Settings to update the PRL and Update device configuration which caused it to stay at "Configuring your cellular network" for a few minutes before it showed 3 bars of service.

Hopefully this is relevant to you.

Edit: I just took a look at my emails from Sprint and I never received one that stated that the activation would be completed in 10 minutes. Mine simply stated: "Thanks for activating your phone! Your new Sprint has been activated." You may be getting another email that says the activation went through at which point your phone will be working, hopefully.

Anyone try activating online after ordering the SIM via 8777 number? The paperwork with my SIM says to call, but I'd rather do it online and not be bothered with hold times.

I told people who doesn't know about him to PM him, but since you already have enough info and know about him, why not just do a simple search?
You see just by doing a thread search, you found it mission accomplished bounce

Are the eligibility requirements for adding/porting additional phone numbers and phones to the Sprint account the same as in the original offer term?

You don't have to apply online, if you have a SIM card ready you can just call that number and apply online. Itll be faster and quicker than waiting 3 days for their overnight shipping. And you cannot do it online.

I called them regarding an issue, they asked me which promotion I was wondering, and they just asked me questions and determine I was eligible, credit check. Ported a number in, took less than 30 minutes

yeah I saw that also but the Sears that has it is pretty far from me. Might go for it if all else fails.

I ordered the SIM cards over the phone and received them yesterday. I want to know if I can activate online or do I have to call the number back.

chatting with h20, won't give me an account # or pin.

H2OWIRELESS Ray-H2o:
For me to be able to get the account information you should use the phone number for 5 days and provide ownership confirmation, for example, 3 phone numbers frequently called , etc.

I didn't get a confirmation email because I ordered the SIMs by calling the 8777 number. When I got the SIMs yesterday, they came with paperwork saying to activate via calling the same number. I would like to know if anybody else who ordered via phone actually did the activating online. Since you ordered online, it's different.

EDIT: I'll try it myself then and see what happens. I'm waiting to complete the process though until after I get someone to take over the 3 months service I already prepaid on Straight Talk.
