Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Call them and it will work. I tried activating online but it didn't go through. Call them on the number in the Wiki.
Is that number 866-782-8777?

Some people are getting lucky activating online, others are having to call. Sprint is making it hard to become a customer, which tells you a lot about why they're losing the mobile wars.

True. I am also not impressed with LTE speeds so far. Never had issues with AT&T but sprints LTE is just slow.

Here is my activation story so far. I ordered the SIM online and it was delivered overnight as promised. I activated a iPhone SE unlocked ATT model. I ported my number from cricket via their online system. It took nearly 24 hours for the port to complete, but it was automatic and I did not have to call.

I walked into Best Buy, head straight to Mobile department, and simply ask to buy a Sprint SIM; rep asked what phone I have and I said iPhone 6S Plus; took about 5 minutes and cost $5.42 instead of waiting for few days for Sprint to ship at a cost of $14.

The SIM I got is a SPRINT iPhone specific SIM part number SIMGLW436C, which is apparently the same SIM you can get for free from the Apple Store. I don't think you can order this online from Best Buy and I'm not sure what the Best Buy product number is. The rep just got the SIM from a cabinet, it's not displayed on a rack for sale.
Exactly same with what happened with me at Best Buy. Why wait for the overnight mail and go crazy?... IPhone sim $5, android sim $10.

Yes I ported from FP the free service plan. They asked me if it was pre or post paid. I said post. There was no issue when I said it's coming from freedompop
Did you try the online port or you just went ahead and called them up? If I have to call them up...I might try to see if I can pickup a Sprint Sim in store.

Can anyone confirm the sim card they got in the mail?
The package i purchased from the B&M sprint store was for a Bring Your Own Device contain Sim Card SIMOLW416Q

Called for the activation, (got pass credit check), but was not able to activate using the sim. I am suppose to go back to the store and swap it out again.

Just wanted to see if there was any difference in sim card type.

I too got the SIMOLW416Q for a S7 Edge. Will it work or i have to go to Sprint store? I cant do it right now, my daughter is in Pa and she will receive it Friday.

Hmm. Maybe I'll do this instead of ATT GoPhone. Sounds like you created a new line instead of porting and existing number like I'm trying to do. How long after starting the new line with T-Mobile before you ported out to Sprint?
T mobile $3 pay as you go is good. You don't need to fund it. When you call to set up just tell the service rep that you still have to decide on which plan and you'll fund it later. That way you can set up your account and get the account number and pin and new phone number too. Dunno how soon you can port but I'll give it half a day or so. Or you can check if your t-mobile line is "live", then maybe you can port it right away. Should be quick.

I was gonna mention BB, and Ting has a good knowledge base for CDMA.

Here is the old BB sim topic, I got mine for $3 https://slickdeals.net/f/8326353-ringplus-compatible-sprint-sim-simglw426c-card-bestbuy-2-99-b-m-only?v=1&src=SiteSearch see wiki for ting info

Just had a chat with Sprint rep and they confirmed #1. For #2 you'd have to buy it online. Since I have a T-Mobile iphone (unlocked), I don't think it's compatible with Sprint, sadly.
it likely will work on sprint unless its really old.
