For the above, or if you ever had this phone on a Sprint MVNO, you will have to have the phone's IMEI changed from the PLBL database to SPCS. PM LiterallyUnlimited on reddit and he should be able to help out. Otherwise the Moto Play versions will work just fine.
I too was able to plug in my iPad (mini) IMEI and a google voice number and it came back confirmed as qualifying for the promotion.
However I'd appreciate it if anyone can let me know if they've been successful actually activating the sim in an iPad. Anyone know if iPad sims are different than iPhone?
