I am considering changing to AT&T $45 ($40 with autopay) / 6GB plan, but I am not sure if enrolling autopay can avoid pay additional fee (tax).

How is the online sign up process work?
Do you provider the port out information when you receive the sim to activate, or you need to provide that information after going through the credit check?
For those who have Nexus 5X that is not eligible. If you were on Google FI before, you can contact Google FI asking them to release the phone (give them your phone IMEI), call and demand to talk to a manager. They didn't solve my issue after two days, I talked to a manager, and they released my phone in half an hour.
