Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Time is running short... so I'm trying to find out best way forward... thanks again for your help.
Well for me I did enter the number and the PIN when I order the SIM on the website. Not sure what you did that

If you are worry then just go to get a SIM starter kit from some store then.

any limitation on data roaming in this plan? heard that 1 GB is max for roaming data.
100mb/800min is in the terms section. Not sure how strictly it is held. It's my understanding that Data will just be cut off at 100mb, but everything else will still work.

I'm 3 hours into it and stuck. For those of you who successfully got this plan by applying over the phone, do you also see this $45 2GB "temporary" plan or what's in the wiki? How do you know you successfully got the plan?
No such thing, the website clearly said 1-866-782-8777 to order by phone so where did you call? The rep from that number know the promo right the way.

Everyone is wasting their time with the referrals, credit union rewards, etc. They will be denied while you're on the free plan. Once you're on the regular rate, you can try adding them to your account. This is straight from Marci Carris SVP Customer Mgmt.
It takes less than a min to submit a number, I will waste a min for possible free money whether it come or not.

Thanks for detailed steps! How long did Literally Unlimited take to switch the IMEI in the database? I'm waiting for more than 12 hours now.
Maybe about a few hours I believe. He's also a Ting employee, so probably can't do this all the time and wouldn't be surprised he's gotten a few requests. At worst case, you can try to see if Sprint themselves can do a ClickIt ticket for getting that done, but that might take a day or two from what I've seen doing a search on it.

Although I'm still in denial about this, I suspect this is what's ultimately going to happen. Just out of curiosity, where did you get this info?

Trying to figure out if your method (*123*YourZIPcode*02#) would work if I'm porting in a phone # to att go phone.

In your case, did you port in a phone # to att, or you just got a new # assigned by att? Also, does this method work only for $2/day plan? Would it work for $0.25/min plan? if so, how...? Thanks for your help.
You can always call ATT to port in a go phone numer, just need to activate a new number first then call in. So if you want to get a ATT sim from Walmart it should work too.

Ok, so I currently have one phone on Boost and 2 on Republic Wireless(with 6 months free). It says I'm not eligible on all of the phones, despite having compatible phones on all 3(Nexus 6, Nexus 5x, Moto G5 Plus). I assume because they're all on Sprint MVNOs. My question is this, what service can I put all 3 of these phones on at the lowest cost so I'm eligible for this year of service on all 3?

Any way to get out of it after first year?
Port a disposable pre-paid number from T-mobile / AT&T, for example. Port your current number to Google Voice if you care for using it as the caller ID for outgoing calls w/ GV app or to forward to pre-paid number then ported to Sprint. Cancel after the year is up.

According to a Best Buy rep on sprints Reddit, lovemycreditunion won't work with free 1year but you will get $5 off if you continue after the free year.
Is this Best Buy guy a credible guy? Cuz sometimes sprint reps don't even know how to facilitate this deal. I can understand it'll be crazy if they give you a $100 for a free plan. I looked at the referral rules and it says referral are only given to customers with device installments. So I think I'll stop being greedy and enjoy my 5 lines.

Yeah, I got mine switched today. It was a wait of 14 hours. As you said, he should've been bogged down with requests.

Im kind of thinking of doing this just for Data for my iPad.
I currently have the T Mobile Promo of free data for life (200MB per month) but this could work lol.
I just dont know how Sprint would be in Rural Kansas.
You cannot use the activated SIM in the iPad for data only, but you can use it as a hotspot for your iPad.
