Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

There are huge differences between city and rural even in the same state.

They'll tell you it's submitted to back office..I'm in the same boat. I had a nice long chat today through sprint account and person reassured me that since this is a web only promo "back office" are the only one's who can put promo line on account. If you manage to do this over the phone though make sure you get their name and agent ID.

Well, I canceled the account. I was advised I would receive a $0.00 bill but I if I get a charge on my credit card, I will request a refund via the 30 day policy If they do not refund, then I will complete a charge back.

Why put your telephone number at risk? This can be avoided by using Google Voice.

You leave behind a history of open/closed accounts, but no record of porting in and out.

You can change carriers in seconds, easily create a eligible number to qualify for promotions, and never worry about your number being held hostage/in limbo/etc.
I'm contemplating this. I've had one number for 15yrs. I rely on it heavily for work. I don't play 20 million open and close, jumping around here and there games. My number is on Tmo now. Was going to port it over to the sprint business account with the LG g6 deal. But why waste the port in credit of $150 when I can get a whole year of service for about $50 on top of referral credit on both sides as the referrer and referree on top of AAdvantage miles? Then I'll port back to Tmo at some point when I can get a deal on a new phone, hopefully the Note 8, and call it a day, then end the line at the end of the year.

Well maybe scrap all the good stuff since people seem dumb enough to call and see if they qualify for it.

Just got this promo yesterday with my Nexus 6. How are you seeing your taxes/fees? View My Bill is not working. Did anybody get it and then swap devices with a phone not on the eligbility list, but keep the promo?

If they already seem to not know how to get the IMEI to work, ask if they're in the Philippines. If so, tell them to talk to a Manager named Mark. He will be able to do a "bypass" of some sort, or just manually enter into the system, something like that. My first ticket did nothing until Mark took control. This even worked on a phone that was only ever on Sprint MVNO.
If they're not in the Philippines then do I say to get in touch with Mark in Philippines or is there a department name that I can cite? I guess since these are all phone names for the benefit of us Americans can I assume they only use each name once and I don't have to worry about last names?

It may take a few days for you to see taxes/fees but you can DL the app to confirm your plan. See the wiki for what your plan details should look like. If you signed up via the link, you should be ok. There is also a link in here to check taxes / fees based on state but you may have to search for it (if its not in the wiki).
