Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Thanks much OP and community wiki! I ordered SIM card online, got a hard pull on Experian and activated a single line online after received the sim card. There were no issues getting the free plan or setting up my online account. No phone calls involved so far.

Some data points here:
- I used an unlocked at&t iPhone SE and ported in a tmobile prepaid phone number (4-digit pin required), the port-in process took 10 minutes or less.
- the so called "activation code" in the welcome email is useful to set up mysprint account (6-digit number part) after activation.
- I signed up for $100 credit union reward and 20K AA miles bonus the same day. Two days later got an email saying only one promotion allowed - have to reply or Sprint will not process AA miles promotion.
- 5 days after activation the first bill showed up as $2.54 in Maryland.
- Sprint referal program requires to sign up yet another online account. Then you get a referal link to spam everyone you know, or a QR code which scans to open the same link.
Did you already had a PIN code on your post-checkout confirmation when you bought the Sim Card? I was not given a PIN on the post-checkout confirmation page which said that it should have on the page to be able to make an online Sprint Account!

Yes, you can use your own Sprint SIM; and yes, you can switch/change phone. I have mentioned this a few times. Log into your Sprint account, look for your device/phone info and make sure the Nexus 6 IMEI is paired correctly with your SIM ICCID. If they are wrong, just correct them yourself or ask a Sprint rep to correct them for you. You must always pair the phone IMEI with the SIM ICCID on your account online before you can activate/use the phone on Sprint network if you want to change the phone or the SIM.

The Nexus 6 uses nano SIM (not micro SIM). You would need the Sprint SIM with part number SIMGLW446C or SIMOLW506C. Good luck.
Thanks, it is a nano SIM sorry for my typo. I finally got it activated after a 45 minutes phone call to Sprint. Now I have another problem, I have 3 phones (iphone7plus, Nexus6, iphone5c)all compatible with Sprint (checked through deal page, all IMEIs are OK), but Sprint customer service insist that only my iPhone 7 Plus was supported in their system, so i used the iPhone 7 Plus to activate my account, now I want to switch to Nexus 6 or iphone5C, how can i do that? I tried to use My Sprint | Activate a device, and chose iPhone 7 Plus as the device I wanted to swap, but I got a page said "Please chat with us to complete your activation. (Look for the icon in the top right of the page) or make an appointment at a store near you. If you have bookmarked this page or used your back button, you'll need to start over to complete your activation".

Does anyone know how to swap device?

Same here. Please let me know how to solve it, if you are able to,

I've activated the phone and UCC ID (SIM) because I already had one. That confirmation page didn't have it either. Waiting on the port....

When I try to order online for this promotion I am getting below error. Anyone saw this kind of issue? I am little worried to order by phone and get into trouble as this promotion is only order online. Please suggest.

"There is an error in processing your order. Please verify your information and submit or call the order support team at 1-866-275-1411"
Quote from dealchecker2010 :
Thanks. But my credit history check was success. I see this error only at the end when I submit the order. Also I never saw issue with my credit history in the past. It must be something else.
Did you get confirmation email? If you did, you are good. My wife got that error too, but the account was created successfully. I think the system was too busy and timed out at the end. You can try to register your account profile on sprint.com, if it registers successfully, your account has been created.

I'm just stalling because I really don't need it and my phone skills are getting rusty.Ha ha I'm paying $9/mo so for peace of mind with Tello and it's easy for me to stay under 200MB plan. I may be missing the boat but right now it's more like rocking the boat. I'm kind of fond of tello so don't think I can do both.

Do you think they will let you switch to a phone not on the list after you get the promotion? I know that they will likely let you switch to a phone that is on the list (placeholder situation). I'm wondering if I can open a line with a less expensive android and then switch to a S7 or S8 in a few weeks.
Yes, you can switch to any phone that has support for Sprint radios. The list is not exhaustive nor set in stone. Some phones, you have to ask Sprint to add the IMEI to the Sprint database or remove the MNVO flag if it fails the eligibility test.
Quote from ClearanceRUs :
...eligible list shows that the iPhone 5s are verizon only eligible, but these are definitely Sprint. I am wondering if the BYOD is not really about bringing the phone itself from another carrier, but to see if it is compatible with Sprint's network? And the phone number being ported in from another carrier is the more important thing.

However, I need a 5th line. What is the best option for purchasing a phone? Can I just purchase a sprint phone and use that for the 5th line? I checked the phone number from the gizmo gadget line, with one of the sprint iPhone 5s one's and it says eligible. So, it is just a matter of finding a phone to buy for the 5th line....
You have to port in a non-Sprint number. See above for phone.
Quote from pPjkmFsYUqt :
Anyone have tips on getting "ineligible phone" to be eligible?

My iPhone is unlocked (Verizon model) that I have used on all major carriers and a variety of MVNO's, including Sprint. I know it works fine and was bought outright.

I don't know why they say it's ineligible. :-(
thank you
Search for my posts on how to add the IMEI.

Sorry if this has already been asked. I have an eligible phone and the Sprint sim from the last promotion. How do I port/activate online without human interaction?
Do it online. You can switch the SIM.
