Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

is there any way i can release my iphone from my hubby's existing sprint account which he is closing and does not choose... they are telling they need to send a text on first line number to add second line ...and issue is my first line i got with a temporary iphone which i does not have with me for some days...
It will be released when the account is closed or you can swap the iPhone out of his account with another phone if you don't want to wait till the account is closed.

Wont be going thru 253 pages on my mobile so if someone knows the answer it would be appreciated if you answer. Has anyone successfully signed up to a qualify carrier, T-Mobile for example, then immediately signed up to Sprint? Been thinking about doing it but currently on Freedompop which is a Sprint MVNO and not sure if anyone from Freedompop or any Sprint MVNO has successfully ported over to Sprint. Or do i have to "switch" to said T-Mobile then to Sprint. TIA
Freedompop has 3 different services. Att based, global and Sprint. As far as I know att and global are ok to Port

Exactly what happened to me. Had to port out the number back to Verizon then and bring it back again! Very inconvenient but couldt wait this stupid back office promise.
Did you have any issue to use the same phone to port back in Sprint? Also, did you port it back out to Verizon pre-paid or post paid?

Yes it is. You can also search the RW support page for port out information.

What does delete do? Does it turn off the MVNO flag on SPCS or any other flag that causes the device to be ineligible on Sprint postpaid?
Quote from hindolam :
I can confirm the "delete" part. I was using Google Pixel on RingPlus which got moved to Ting during the RingPlus shutdown. I ported the number away from Ting to H2O

I thought since the phone number has been ported away, the phone would have been released. However, when I initially checked the Google Pixel MEID on Spring MEID checker, it came as phone not eligible. Then I thought of checking again on Ting. Sure enough, the devices were still listed under my account - with two options - delete and activate. I deleted the device from the Ting account. When I checked the phone again on Sprint free offer page, the phone passed this time. And now I have the phone on this plan now. For the last few years I have not paid less than $5 per year. Of course, I have spent a lot on the phones thoughSmilie
I know that it works for some people, but do you know if the "delete" really removes the "MNVO" flag or any other flag on the phone? The reason I asked is because a few people who deleted their phones from Ting account still have the MVNO flags on their phones.

On another note, if anyone doesn't trust LiterallyUnlimited with your IMEI or doesn't want to wait for him/her to remove the MVNO flag, you can always ask Sprint to remove it.

ADDED: Not sure if LiterallyUnlimited is a Ting employee. If he/she is a Ting employee, SD needs to validate his/her SD account for credibility.

I ported from T-Mobile. The port was completely within a few hours. However, still stuck on 3G when I should be getting LTE on my Nexus 6. Replaced SIM and tried other things like factory reset, etc, but no luck till now.
Same here, Ported from t-mobile prepaid. Only getting 2.5mbps. Did several ##update# and network reset, and still no faster speeds.

Everything's up and running smoothly for me so far. Only issue I noticed is in My Sprint account it shows My Device as some crappy ZTE Fury (I have a Galaxy S8). Should I even bother calling to correct this?

Somewhere on this thread, there was link to a YouTube video about this promotion. It said that if you did not have an eligible phone that you could trade n your old, or buy one, or something like that.

Does anyone know how to do that? It does not give that option when I try to sign up from the link.

I have a similar issue. I have an S8 activated currently but it's still an iPhone attached to the account. The only thing is that I did initially have the iPhone to start with but changed it after one day. I hope this doesn't cause an issue.

The only place cheaper is order directly from Tmobile, there other online option but I think you are running out of time pretty fast, come on you are not willing to pay $10 for hundreds
Confused
Walmart, target, convenience stores have them. You don't need to activate them in there. But you'll need to fund the newly created tmobile prepaid account (choose the $3 plan) with $10 minimum. Make at least 2-4 calls before you port out the tmobile number.

Did you already had a PIN code on your post-checkout confirmation when you bought the Sim Card? I was not given a PIN on the post-checkout confirmation page which said that it should have on the page to be able to make an online Sprint Account!
Online Chat said...
"Jenny R. : I've checked the details. You have ordered for the BYOD ( Bring your own device ) Sim card. Currently your order is being processed. Once the order will be delivered to you , please visit the www.sprint.com/activatenow and then Account pin will be delivered at your email address while activation. "
Was she right?
I double checked - actually the PIN / activation code was not given at check out. I got it in the welcome email after the SIM activation! Sorry for the confusion.
