Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

This is the first I'm hearing about Sprint being good in ANY area. Am I missing something? I used them for years and then with R+...
Sprint is actually faster in my area compared to Tmobile and Verizon. Only AT&T is faster, I am in New Orleans, LA.

Thanks OP, was able to port to Sprint in under 5 minutes after placing order last night. Got the sprint SIM from Apple Store. The sim that sprint is yet to ship from online order will be used for another line
Had a question, i checked the eligibility of my device and ordered for the sim yesterday night and waiting for it to arrive. In the meanwhile i found that i already have a unused sprint SIM which i had brought few months back. Instead of waiting, can i just use this spare SIM to activate my line? i.e. the SIM the sprint sends is not tied to the mobile until i activate, is that right?

Anyone who has had sprint in the past and has already signed up for this deal... Did you use your old login on sprint.com rather than set up a new one? I'm wondering if that will screw things up somehow.
I setup a new one.

Also, can you PM me that list you sent me here on Reddit? I need to reply in detail for some of them, and I already used my 2 messages this 6 hours.
Okay, had to create a new account and sent the list there too. Thanks!

T-mobile Tuesday still works after leaving it for this plan. Just got some stuff today.
That's good to know. Vudu movie tonight!

I wonder if you can get back on the FDFL with the same T-Mob SIM after your port out?

I was able to use my old login and "add the new account". Go to My Preferences, Click on one of the "I Want to" links - it opens up a dialog box, under "My account Info", you should be able to add a new account - use the billing account number.

Hope this helps

You will have to try , it worked for me on an iPhone. If you have a different device then your results may vary.

You can use your own sim to do it. Just call them up and have a rep help you set it up. You can just keep the sim you get or use it to activate a new line.

I got the same issue, but finally get my Moto G4 work after some tries. The key is to set the correct Sprint APN for Moto G4.

Here is my procedures:
1. Remove the Sprint SIM card and insert any GSM SIM card (T-Mobile, ATT or FreedomPop)
2. Go to Settings - More - Cellular networks - Carrier settings, you will see APN there!
3. Click APN then delete all the APNs already in the page.
4. Click the "+" button to add a Sprint APN ( APN: cinet.spcs), then save it.
5. Choose the Sprint APN and leave settings.
6. Remove the GSM SIM and insert the Sprint SIM.
7. Drink a cup of coffee then enjoy the LTE.

Hopefully it works for you.

Any other tips to get 4G on a Moto G4, if you don't have another carriers SIM?

bought the samsung S8+ from the samsung deal. Activation over the phone was quick and painless (<30min). The sprint sim that came free with the phone worked. The rep did try to add a protection plan saying if i broke the device or lost it before the term was up i may be inelligible for the deal but i politely refused the service and he made no additional upsell effort

The sim i used was a SIMOLW416Q, and worked with Samsung Galaxy S8+
