Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

My new account created yesterday has this line added to the bottom of the referral email:

Customers on BYOD 1YearFree plan are NOT eligible for Sprint Referral Rewards program.

The rest of the T&Cs appear to be the same as the first email.

The referral terms and conditions page has added it to the bottom of the page as well:

Different SSN. Just some #@$%tard "executive" changed it. Leaves a note on my account saying that he left a voicemail with the reason why. In voicemail, no reason just to call him back. Try calling him 3 days now and always straight to voicemail. No idea why I'm getting this treatment.

If its on the list, it will work if you deactivate the device and substitute the sprint line with another device, or you can port the phone/line to another carrier first and then it will work. Thats what I did with my iPhone 6s Plus "sprint" phone (originally unlocked from Tmobile). I also deactivated my friends "sprint" phone on my plan and he was able to use it to open up his own account.
I have a friend that has a Sprint iPhone 7 Plus that was unlocked by sprint. She tried her IMEI and it didn't pass, is there a way around that ?

By sprint phone meaning is currently active on a sprint line? Then have her swap that iPhone 7 plus with another sprint device on her account or port that line with that sprint phone to another carrier. That should free up that phones imei to use for this promo.

If you are thinking to use that to insist on the referral credit, it won't work unless your referral bought or leased a phone from Sprint when signing up. It's listed as a requirement for the referral credit in the T&C.

Anyone having sprint on iPhone experiencing faster battery drain?
Yeah, I noticed faster battery drain on my iPhone 6S Plus as well after switching to Sprint. Probably because the phone has to keep looking for weaker signal. Battery lasts longer when I was with Cricket (AT&T).

It should work. I had an unlock sprint iPhone 7 plus sold to friends uncle to use on T-Mobile. That phones imei worked for my friend for this deal.

I had an unlocked iPhone 6s Plus originally from T-Mobile active on my sprint account. I ported that line to Verizon. Then the phone immediately passed eligibility checker. Currently active on free plan now.

Do you know if your friends phone been on a sprint MVNO? If so the MVNO flag needs to be flipped back to sprint post paid.

Message /u/LiterallyUnlimited on reddit with your IMEI, he works for ting and previously worked at Sprint.

There's a flag that needs to be flipped for devices that were previously activated on Sprint MVNOs to work on Sprint postpaid.

Took care of it quickly and explained clearly the reason why certain devices are eligible for use on Sprint MVNOs only.
