Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

yeah, i just signed up and activated, i dont remember the rep telling me i had to sign up for it, but it was on my account for $!3/mth and i removed it with no issue. be sure to go onto your account and add the free ($0.00 charge) sprint global add on that lets you use talk, text and 1gb of data when you are travelling in Canada and/or Mexico.
I just called and had them cancel it (it took over half an hour!), but the protection plan is still in my account. I was told that it may take a few hours for the website to reflect the change... hope I don't need to call them again

Where can I find the free global add on? I don't see it in my account.

I went ahead and tried to cancel my account for Sprint because it wasn't adding up and they started telling me all these different things on why it wasn't on my account. So i called, and i'm, still on the phone with them, and let me say that it's such a long process, i've called multiple times and asked to cancel and sometimes they'll just plain out right hang up on me, and when i do get on the call with them and ask them to cancel they'll take years. The last agent i spoke to told me it was canceled and if i needed help with anything else, i asked to speak with a manger and hung up on me. Now i called back and asked to speak to manger from cancelling department and they transferred me over to customer service... All i have to say is good luck to everyone canceling after the year is over, because it is one huge hassle, 2 hours and still going here!

Picked up 2 SIM cards at apple store yesterday. Called today and spent 45 minutes on the phone setting up account, credit check and giving representative all the phone and sim info. Specifically told her to old port my number since my wife was at work and she didn't have the new sim with her. Said I would take care of her number later. Repeated myself 5 times and she assured me her phone would work. Well.... now her phone doesn't work since the representative ported her phone number over. What a great start for Sprint.

I just switched over to the BYOD for a year from T-Mobile to Sprint and it was all fairly simple for me, but I think this was due to the representative got a hold of (Luck). I'll share my process in case it helps anyone else:

1) Paid off my phones that I was making monthly payments on (IPhone 6S+; 2 X IPhone 6); Asked T-Mobile for unlocking procedures, which took a day or two for them to get to me, but at the end of the day I didn't unlock them and it still worked on Sprint (weird...).
2) Tried to sign up online - The 6S+ showed up as eligible and the other two did NOT
3) Called Sprint, they started a ticket, called me 1-2 days later and some how all 3 phones became Eligible
4) Signed up online, paid the $10 shipping and $2.99 per sim card, took a few days to receive
5) While I waited for them to arrive, I called T-Mobile and asked for the porting PIN (last four of social)

This is where it took a little bit of time and work (40 minutes on phone)

6) Tried to activate the sim cards using the URL, it didn't work
7) Spoke with representative, she took IMEI for all three phones and paired them with sim cards
8) She said the account was not created and had to run another credit check (I was confused since they had to already to approve it before letting me order the sim cards on the front end - whatever go ahead!)
9) It was approved again, she tried to sell me insurance, well didn't try, she told me she would add it to my account, so I had to tell her "NO THANK YOU, I don't need insurance..."
10) She asked for my T-Mobile Acct number, the PIN, and then transferred me to a person who would check on the porting process
11) About 5-10 minutes later my T-Mobile service stopped working, I turned off my phone, inserted the new sim cards, turned on my phone, reconnected my ICloud and everything worked great! It showed up as Sprint, Service worked fine - I live in Chicago, IL.
12) Checked my account and she had already set me up for AutoPay and under Plan Type it say "BYOD Unlimited Everything good until 7/21/2018), and I don't owe anything right now - we'll see if this is the case in a month or so.

It took a few days, a total of an hour on the phone with a representative that is from abroad, but a year of free service with no contract is I think worth it! Good luck Y'all!

Is there some sort of waiting period for a new phone before it becomes available on this offer? I bought a new iPhone SE from Verizon just a couple days ago, but it always shows as ineligible on the Sprint signup page, no matter what phone number I use (I have several ring.to #'s that work with a Moto G4). Anyone else experience something like this with a brand new iphone?

It's not free you have to pay taxes and fees. Not to mention there a thread for this already.
