Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Ported wife's line without any issue with 1 year free. CS said they needed to add mobile insurance for $13.99 a month to start the free plan however I could remove it after activation by calling back which I did...

I'm in a similar situation (just paid my Cricket bill on 6/25). It won't save you any money (since the sprint free year ends on 7/31/18 regardless). However, it will allow you to stay on VZ coverage/speeds longer.

I ordered today (not knowing whether it would be extended for sure). I may just not activate the Sprint sim if I change my mind (I'm actually pretty satisfied with Cricket). If I do activate, I'll time it when I won't absolutely have to have my phone for a few hours.
Yeah, I already ordered my sim and have it. I tried to port out my number online last night. It just sat there is a processing state after I the finish button. I let it run for half an hour and decided to try again later. Now I'll just wait a couple of weeks.

Hopefully I don't have to call in. I'm wondering what the usual wait time is when trying to port online?

I don't think it matters if prepaid/postpaid you should be fine we ported over from Walmart Family Mobile which is now owned by tracfone. I had to activate my 3 lines over the phone but didn't really have an issue

I tried to add a line and it asked me to buy a new device. I've already have a device and I also have a new sprint sim card too (from Samsung.com promo)

Can someone post instructions or PM me on how to get ineligible phones on the list? I have a basic flip phone for my father and two LTE tablets. I have a spare eligible iPhone 5S, if it helps. Thanks!

Edit: I'm also bringing over two eligible iPhone SEs from Cricket.

Same area as you, same bill. Thrilled but I wonder if that's prorated? Someone else stated, in the wiki, also in California, they got a bill for $9. I guess we'll see on the next go around.

Looks like my experience is somewhat different from others here, I get zero bars (or it switches to roaming) in my house and at work - unless I walk close to a window. Works great everywhere else I've been so far though.

I hate getting ripped off by Verizon, but not sure how realistic having a phone that doesn't work at home or work is lol.

This one worked for me. You can order this online from the sprint free promo site, $2.99 each plus tax plus $10 overnight shipping.

You can use wifi calling at home if your phone supports it.
