Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Same area as you, same bill. Thrilled but I wonder if that's prorated? Someone else stated, in the wiki, also in California, they got a bill for $9. I guess we'll see on the next go around.

What are the part numbers as printed on the boxes?

What is the part number as printed on the box? Does it still work with T-Mobile now or other carriers (other than Sprint)? Get an Apple GSX report from eBay (I think it's $0.99). Hopefully, it's just outstanding service bill that the seller did not pay, which can be "cleaned."
Which of the 2 will work with Spring or is it more dependent on the IMEI?

iPhone 6s (AT&T/SIM Free/A1633) MKQ62LL/A*

iPhone 6s (Global/A1688)MKT82LL/A*

http://www.everyi.com/by-identifi...umber.html

I want to switch by bringing in a phone but read people having problems.

Is it key to just run the IMEI on Ting and Swappa?
And the Ebay Apple GSX? (But who selling a used iphone will do that?)

I told them they were all separate T-Mobile lines, all 3 were separate lines is what I told them and they said ok well let me get T-Mobile on the line to verify the eligibilty of this. I hung up when they did that, because of course prepaid is not eligible. I don't know what my next step is.
I am porting in from tmobile and am getting the same thing... they had to call tmobile, didnt say why. I said np, go head. I didnt think they are interested in losing customers over this promo.....

I think they just wanted to verify info make sure your the account holder.

edit, he did say he called to verify my info on my prepaid account. Maybe they are having sales confirm accounts that do not get auto approved to keep support calls low. he mentioned they are getting flooded with activations and to allow extra time for the port to be actiive

Can someone please give me some advice? Currently using ATT and iPhone 5S, sprint is saying my phone is not eligible, wants to get the sprint iPhone and this free plan, so can I buy the spring iPhone at bestbuy and then pay it full and port out to Verizon and then port back for this free one year service? Because the sprint web page is showing now only Verizon are eligible for the free plan now. Do I have to pay activation fee for sprint and Verizon by doing this? Has never port in and out phone number before so kind of has no clue, thank you very much for helping me out!!

How long has it been? GV is treated like land line and can take 1-3 days or more to finish port. You can try the porting number in wiki to see if they can push it through. My friend got his GV activate on the phone in 10 minutes while adding his line.

I ported my number from Cricket. I can make/receive calls and send texts but can't receive any texts. Anyone else experience this issue?

Sprint activation fee, not sure about verizon, I think there's an activation fee there if you activate in store. Alternatively, if you have a friend/family member with an eligible phone you could probably activate it and then swap to your iphone. As far as carrier, should work still with almost all carriers

If you are gonna pay in full anyway, why don't you get a sim-free version from Apple store? But check compatibility first. My 6S sim-free version works with every network. 7 might be different.

You will get welcome email from Sprint with a link to create your account. GV porting takes around 1-3 days and some times ever more than that.

I've called a half dozen times and am still on the $50/month plan instead of free. If they charge me I'm not even going to call them will have my cc company do a chargeback.
