Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Well actually I live in an area where the tax rate is going to be 25%+ meaning I would pay $15 in taxes or so.

I've been using Tello where I pay much less, I realize it's not unlimited but I can get by with it.
Wiki is wrong. You do not pay taxes and fees based on $60. It's based on $5.

I'm really struggling with this. I swapped my Tello number to an old device to free up my current phone. I checked on Swappa and current phone now shows as clear.

On Sprint when I enter the IMEI of the clear phone along with my Tello number, it shows as ineligible. I tried the same IMEI with a GV number as well and it still shows ineligible.

Is this a case where I need to ask Sprint to add the IMEI to their database?

Even if I had a brand new phone on the eligible list, would I be able to port direct from Tello? I know it is not supposed to work but has it worked for anyone (thought it might as phones not listed are sometimes working)?

Thanks to anyone who will take pity on a moron who has read many pages of this thread and learned well, not very much.
I have tried to port Tello number online and freedompop with telesale but they didn't work. Did you try your clear imei with GV number?

Google Nexus 6. Worked with RingPlus until they went out of business, and then I moved to AT&T
N6 works. Just call Sprint to change PLBL flag to SPCS and add IMEI onto the Sprint database (if it's not already on it). Keep trying until you get someone who knows how to do it. LiterallyUnlimited is on vacation with his lady friend(s) Big Grin

I'd like to know as well. I have an unlocked ATT iPhone 5s, currently with FP
What are the model number and part number of the iP5s? What is the history of the iP5s? What FP plan do you have?

Yes, tried 2 different SIMOLW506C Sim's neither of them worked. I didn't have to ask them to add the IMEI it worked instantly after I gave them the new SIM information.
Thanks for the info again. Hope the person who asked about it a few days ago sees your post.

LG Tribute - LGLS676. I guess I could just buy a new phone and use with a GV number. Thanks for your response.

Yeah I tried the clear IMEI with the GV number and still no go. So not sure if that phone is truly ineligible or if Sprint must do something on the backend.

Most of Sprint phones are not eligible for this promotion. It must be an unlocked phone that supports CDMA or a few selected verizon phones and Iphones

I know my phone is CDMA but how would I know if it's unlocked? It seems like others have had success with phones not on the official list.

So I bought a Sim from the Sprint store. What do I need when I call the number?
Am I gonna have any problems with the fact I have basically no credit history as I just moved here from the UK?
Also does anyone know the times the line is open or is it 24hrs?

Good luck on finding a rep who is willing to add an imei to Sprint database. I think you should buy a cheap moto e4 or g4 at Bestbuy or if you have an unlocked iphone to take advantage of this promotion. You can swap to another phone after 120 days.

Oh okay, so adding the IMEI to their database is effectively what unlocks it? That's what I didn't understand. Maybe I'll just get the $99 E4 from Amazon. Thanks.

Adding the imei of your phone to their database so that you can use the phone on their network. That doesn't mean the phone is unlocked. An unlocked phone is a phone that can be used with any sim card on any GSM network
