Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Maybe your tower is down or being repaired.

I got my lte working by resetting subscriber setting ##25327# ,call button. I then did ##update#, call button.
I don't think you can access apn settings manually on the iphone for sprint. At least not on my 6s on ios 10.
Tried it on my 6s but stilll getting 3g. Am i missing any step?

Where are the free add-ons for canada and mexico? it says $5 for me and when i called they said this plan doesnt qualify for free canada and mexico.
Set up your online account management. And look at whats available. The unlimited plans at the major carriers include this nowadays. Enabling it is another thing. Sprint's promo is basically the standard Unlimited plan with all the bells and whistle except for immediate handset upgrades. On my account besides enabling global roaming I have also added under "Service add-on's you can add":
International services to use while in the US and abroad
Premium International Experience - $0.00

Not sure what you were told by a phone representative.

I am guessing you are indoors or where there is no good coverage. I ran into the same issue.

Go to a area or outdoors where you know your phone worked in the past and try the same reset codes and the PRL and profile update.

If all these dont work, these is a APN change app on the store. Install it and reset your values to default.

That will restore your data and in certain cases your phone connection.
No..no., i getfour bars. it was all fine..i lost voice after trying to get data back. i have another line that works.

Reset carrier settings? Phone model?
Probably quicker and easier to google it.
Did all that, but after a chat with tech support they opened a support ticket and within an hour it was working properly.

That is what I did and it helped. I activated two new lines and one iphone 6s was getting lte from the start. The other one had the 3g only. About one hour after intial activation, I tried the reset carrier settings and update and then got lte signal. It could have been something with Sprint and just took longer to get to phone though.
Both phones were ported from Mintsim and are using the SIMGLW436C sim cards.

Maybe try the Changeapn APP FROM THE play store. Open the app and on the top right , there are 3 dots. Click on that and click reset to default.

Restart . This will reset APN settings on the phone and get you back ion sync. Be sure to be on Wifi.

So you just ported out the line that had the plan messed up, and then were able to port it back in by calling in again? Were you able to use the same phone and SIM?

Also, since activating online worked perfectly, and phoning in was a disaster, does anyone know if it is possible to just create a separate account in my wife's name and do the online activation again?

Activating online does work perfectly for most. So it you already have the Free Unlimited BYOD for one line, it shouldn't be a problem to call and add additional lines. My advice is for people who get the credit error online and have to call in for a credit check then have the SIM cards sent by the rep who did the credit check. When they have to call in a 2nd time to activate the sims, they'll get the wrong plan because the 1 rep created a blank account in order to save the the initial credit check.

When all this happened to me, I didn't have patience for the back office to "fix" my plan. I ported out my line in order to cancel my ENTIRE account. I had to call again to do the credit check and port my number back in. Doing everything on the FIRST call gave me the correct plan the first time. I had 5 SIM cards from the 1st screwed attempt so I didn't use the same sim.

Talking to customer service representatives is COMPLICATED. Make sure you only need to call once to get the right plan.

I have two Motorola E 2nd Gens on Ting. I want to buy two Motorola E4's from Amazon for this deal. How do I go about porting the numbers over for this deal and use the new E4's?
Anyone? What sim cards do I need to get? Is this even possible since the Motorola E 2nd gens aren't eligible.

Just FYI they have changed their official referral terms to list the BYOD as ineligible. Not sure what this means for everyone who did it before that nugget was added in. I'm guessing they are going to deny everyone's even though that wasn't in there before.

What are the brands and model models? and previously used on which Sprint MVNO?
Phones are Galaxy S7 (unlocked version), Nexus 5 , LG tribute HD ... Used in ringplus and than is Twigby (when Twigby was offering free month of service for RP customer). After that , I cancelled service and ported to TMObile. All device show valid and free at ting and Twigby also confirmed they don't have it locked. But Sprint won't allow any of those device
