Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I think your phone is not E4, it's Moto E. Next time, please post the model number. The Moto E will work. Just need the MVNO flag change from PLBL to SPCS. It already cleared the FED because it was able to activate on Ting.
You're right, my mistake.

How do I get them to change the flag? Call or chat with tech support? What words do I say that would get them to flip from PLBL to SPCS? I mean, why would they even bother doing it for me?

Just tell them to change MVNO flag or device ownership from PLBL to SPCS. LiterallyUnlimited can do it for you also.

I might give this a try. I can pay off phone, cancel plan? No ETF right?
Cancel within 14 days. You pay just for the phone, and they will refund all service charges, fees, etc.

YEP it was set up as regular 5 line plan and it just changed this morning to the free plan.
I told you so.

anyone try upgrading at BB online? does it say upgrade eligible?

my sprint page shows all 4 devices are eligible. WOuld they change the plan if I upgrade? bouncebouncebounce
Already answered your question. Don't upgrade if you want to keep your free lines.
Quote from mattb7189 :
So, I signed up (ported my Moto X Pure 2015 from at&t). I in the meantime I had picked up the Galaxy S8 thru the trade in deal, and plan to exchange an old phone for that assuming I like it and keep it.

With a sprint SIM card could I activate the S8 as a second line? Or would I need another number to "port over"?

From what the reps have told me, if I wanted to swap out my Moto X with a new phone before October 2017 I would void the deal. My thought was to add it as a second line for the $5/mo and use a Google voice number.

Anyone swapped the phone they signed up with with success?
To use the S8 as a second line, you would need another number to port in. You can swap device anytime; you cannot upgrade (i.e., lease a new phone or buy a new phone with installments) on the free line prior to 10/1/17. The reps gave you wrong info.

Yes, you have to pair the SIM to the new device before you can activate it. You can do this yourself online if you already have access to your Sprint account online; else, you have to call Sprint.

If you are an advanced/experienced phone user, the S7E will work as long as it's unlocked, regardless of which carrier. Flash it to XAA/XAA/SPR or XAA/SPR/SPR (you can mix and match firmware files) and ask Sprint to add the IMEI to the Sprint database. Search for my posts. Good luck Big Grin

Hey. I really appreciate your help and information. Its not easy or based on luck. I spent over 5 hours on phone with tecnical support guys in 5 days wait. They tried a lot but could not do this because of one or other reasons.

Anyways do you know if we can have different plans for different lines?
Like keep existig line on free plan and add a new line with bb iphone offers

I had 3 technical service reps refuse. One told me I had to go into the store, that they "didn't have access" because I didn't have a Sprint account already (yes, I verified I was talking to technical support). The second said he didn't know what it was and when I suggested he go ask, he said he didn't think it was "a thing". The third said "we're sorry, but your device cannot be used with Sprint"...which she said without even knowing WHICH device it was (no model, nothing) and without the MEID.

So I sent a PM to LiterallyUnlimited. Hopefully they can help me out Smilie

I'm sure it's possible when I ordered two lg G6 they put them on a different plan. I had to contact sprint to have them put on original plan.
