It's actually Moto X 2nd gen. Chatted with support to add IMEI to their database and they said it will take 48 hours. So trying my luck.

It is what it is at least they did something instead of denying you. Did they tell you how long that will take or what the next step is? Is someone gonna call you a day or two later? They might not call so call back in a couple days it might be in database by then.

From the terms of the bestbuy deal it said that if I cancel the service/installment plans early I would have to pay an ETF of $20 x remaining months .

After placing me on hold, the last one told he cannot do a ticket since his supervisor said it is not eligible for the offer. He suggested me to get a phone on full retail price and get that activated instead. So 35 mins there, but at least I tried Smilie

Just want to ask, how do you take the advantage of those BB phone deals for new lines while maintaining this byod plan? Wouldn't they require more expensive lines and you won't be able to byod that new phone to this line?

I understand that previous vzw deals, you just put it on installation to begin with and then immediately pay off the rest and cancel the plan just to get the phone. Wouldn't that cost you a hard credit pull? Please help me understand how this type of deal work. TIA

I did the SIM trick on our previous Moto G4 to get on LTE and it worked. Unfortunately, we had to send it in under warranty and they sent us a new one. I tried the trick on this one but it doesn't work. Besides putting in the cinet.spcs what are the additional entries? I can't find the original website I used to get the other phone working. Driving me nuts!
