Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

So after much deliberation and procrastination, i ordered 4 SIMS prior to 6/30 (before they extended the deal to 7/31) cards for the BYOD free offer. Have been with VZW since it was Bell Atlantic Mobile. I was able to convince myself to pull the trigger after i was told through chat that i had until 7/31 to activate all the phones and that I could cancel at anytime.

Received the cards and went to activate one phone on 6/30. For some reason i call the number instead of going through the website listed on the paper that came with the cards. The CSR told me that i needed to set up an account and run a credit check, even though that was done when i bought the cards online. I told them i didnt want 2 credit pulls within 24 hours. After an hour and half on the phone, they told me they couldn't verify my identity and i needed to bring 2 forms of ID to a Sprint store. When i got there, they didn't know why they sent me there to begin with. I got frustrated and went home, thinking i was just going to stay with VZW.

For kicks when i got home, i went to the link, and was able to set up and activate the phone within 10 minutes.

I have been trying out the service for a week now, and have to say have no real complaints. A couple of dead zones down the jersey shore, but thats to be expected, and i don't live there. No issues near my home, and no issues in NYC (except going through the tunnel on the train..got no service which was a bit disconcerting)

Activated line number 2, a few days ago. Its for my 17 year old, and i told him to go nuts. That process had to be done over the phone but only took about 10 minutes itself. Will have him test it out for another week before i go and activate the last 2. Or if things go horribly, will go back and reactivate with VZW.

I want to thank everyone on this thread for helping me make this decision, i've read every page and it is a great resource.

I have a T mobile locked samsung galaxy s8 which has been unlocked now. I want to know if I can avail this offer. Representatives are confused among themselves. Right now they have raised a click it ticket to see if they can do anything. Anybody who has done this successfully, your help is greatly appreciated

Quick question on the referrals. I had a family member send me a referral 2 months ago when i was thinking about switching from T-Mobile to Sprint to take advantage of the 50% off iPhone deal at Target. Never ended up switching. The referral email said the offer would expire within 20 days, so assuming it is expired I went back to the Sprint website to resend a referral but it won't let me send a referral because the "email address is already in use". I realize i can just use a different email address but does anyone know if the original referral actually expires in 20 days or if I can just use the original referral?

I have an iPhone 7+ on Tello right now. It's has only ever been on Sprint MVNOs. The phone is showing ineligilble for this promotion. I bought the unlocked version from Apple directly, but is it locked to something now? Is there anything I can do to fix that? Thanks. I see something about needing to switch PLBL to SPCS, but you have to be inactive to get it flipped, and I don't want to lose my number so I can't be inactive?!?!

Why do i keep getting conflicting info about credit checks. Phone rep tells me it's soft pull. She confirms this with her manager two levels deep. SDers inform me it's hard pull. Has any one seen their credit score affected after subscribing?

I am unable to activate a verizon iPhone 7 Plus with sprint service. I get "The SIM card inserted in this iPhone does not appear to be supported. The SIM card that you currently have installed in this iPhone is from a carrier that is not supported under the activation policy..."

This phone was eligible and as far as I know post-paid Verizon 4G devices are unlocked. Anyone else using an VZ iPhone 6s/7?

I signed up my mom on a Verizon iPhone 6s plus that was purchased from the Apple Store at full price (i.e. no contract). It had been on AT&T for about 6 months and then T-Mobile after that. I didn't mention that the first SIM card I got from the Sprint Store, I was told by the Sprint customer service rep was not compatible with the iPhone. I looked up the product number and it was listed as a Samsung Galaxy SIM card, so I had to go back to the Sprint Store and get another SIM card before they Sprint CSR would activate. Is it possible that is the issue?

I appreciate your response and dont want to bother my friend if this will not work.

Yes that will work but the phone needs to be deactivated off an active sprint line.
