Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Has anyone been able to get this offer for T-Mobile Samsung S8 or S8+?
Sprint won't whitelist a TMobile Samsung. So you can't get this offer if all you have is a TMobile Samsung.

What is that going to do? Chat reps are foreigners who can barely understand english and are using scripts.

I am only getting 2Meg LTE speed. Not sure how long I will continue. Its just been less than a month aftter signing up
Like all providers, it's going to vary depending on area, congestion, etc. I'm currently getting 7.8 on Sprint LTE and 1.86 on TMobile LTE. Both are better than my crappy ATT DSL which is today running better than normal at 1.33.

Most unlockers have the ability to "clean" the FED also for a fee. For Apple devices, Apple recently made some changes to the Apple GSX servers, where you can't SIM unlock any Apple device before the FED is clear; the unlockers are happy to comply because they are making extra $$$ from "cleaning" FED Big Grin
So I have also have a Boost iPhone 6 which was unlocked and is working fine on T-Mobile but I can't use this on deal because of FED flag. Here is the GSX report can you please help me understand and decide if I need to have FED cleared or use the Verizon iPhone 6 I ordered for this deal?

Here is the GSX report
The GSX report only tells you the SIM unlock status. Your phone is SIM unlocked both domestically and internationally = multi-mode unlock. That means the phone will read any SIM you put in it. However, just because it can read a Sprint postpaid SIM doesn't mean that Sprint will allow the phone on its postpaid network.

FED is something that is in Sprint's database, not Apple's.

decide if I need to have FED cleared
The GSX report can't tell you that. If Sprint is saying the phone can't be activated on Sprint postpaid due to the FED, then you either have to pay someone who can clear that for you in Sprint's database or use a different phone.

I bought mintsim 12 months service 5 months ago and I still have 7 months to go but I have to port out. Mintsim data is unbearable (it's 2g not even 3g or 4g). Loading a simple google front page is like taking forever. I tried to reset the phone, to edit APN, and to flash firmware still didn't work. I used to have Simple mobile, lycamobile.(all T-mobile MVNOs) but never experienced low speed data like mintsim. It is said "You get what you paid for" but I paid less with Sprint and have excellent reception and LTE data.

I've ported out from Mintsim with sprint lg v20 ls997 and it worked, even thought the phone is not on the list and I guess sprint s7, s7 edge, s8 will work too. I paid $180 for it. It still better than moto g4 or g5. You can find a cheap one on ebay or craiglists.

I have Verizon. None of my phones are eligible. Any suggestions to get a phone for cheap to switch. Looks like moto g5 is best cheap phone @ $230.

If you don't need a brand new one, check out swappa. Just make sure that the seller confirms the device is fully paid off before you buy.

Be sure you're getting LTE band 41. This app may help. https://www.phonearena.com/news/LTE-Discovery-tells-you-everything-you-want-to-know-about-your-cellu... [phonearena.com]

How far west? I get pretty decent speeds in Lake in the Hills and Algonquin. I lose service until I get out to Marengo, where speeds are "okay". Do you need further west than that?
