It may take until the billing cycle renews on that account for the financing agreement to show as cleared. I would call Sprint back and ask for a supervisor and see if there is anything they can do to mark the financing agreements as paid in the system since the charges are showing up on your credit card already.

You also can ask on the sprint subreddit to see if they have any ideas.now
now one rep told me i am seeing this financial unpaid balance may be because my account has $3 balance for sales tax etc.
it was for my existing line which is byod line.. i added new line for SE offer from BB in same account... even though i paid off devices but account had a balance..also agent's supervisor manually reset my upgrade eligibility as till now it was showing 2019 for line with SE even though i had paid off device...

So do you think rep is right and thats the reason my phones are showing unpaid balance in TING checker and even when rep tried unlock .. all that because of $3 balance of other line ??

I immediately paid those $3.. and now still its unpaid balance on ting ...probably i need to wait till tomorrow morning..

Doubtful, as that $3 had nothing to do with your SE device payment.

When you're at a computer (not phone or tablet) and on the Sprint website, what does it say when you check the device agreement for the line you bought the SE on? It should show the length of the agreement and how much is owed. Does that show $0 for you?

I contacted sprint. They are not able to add my device's imei to their database.
Sprint will not add that device's imei to their database and there is nothing you can do about it. They are not required to do it.

Quote from skyrocker89 :
Secondly, they asked me to get an eligible device and swap it to my current unlocked t mobile s8. Is that possible??
Not possible. SIM swaps don't work on Sprint and there is no way to get the IMEI of the TMobile S8 whitelisted.

Thats what i am trying to find from few days... where do i see device agreement of each phone i bought on my line on sprint website with date and remaining balance... where is that page or option?

Edit: If you are talking about "view agreement" option below the line and phone, then if i select it then it just shows device name and phone number on next page on top with upgrade eligibility on bottom. No where i see length of agreement or how much i owe..

Use a computer to do this, not a smart phone or tablet. In Chrome, go to Sprint.com and login to your account. Then click on "My Sprint" and on "Account Overview" in the menu. Wait for the site to completely load. Then you should see all your phone numbers listed and beside each one links for "Manage devices," "View agreement," and "Detailed usage." Click "View agreement." A new screen will load that has a section titled "Installment billing summary." Under that will show "Start date," "Duration," "Time remaining," and "Pay-off amount."

All I can tell you is what I see when I go to the Sprint website. If the same thing doesn't appear for you, then I'm not sure what the problem is.

thanks for details.. yes i checked on computer only... it does not show me section titled "Installment billing summary"...
Shows me just device name and phone number on top and upgrade eligibility on bottom.
Why is it different for me Frown

perhaps my account was started originally with byod free year offer so they disabled "installment billing summary" section for me

What does upgrade eligibility show for you?

So I have an iPhone 5 with Verizon.

I ordered an iPhone 5s from Ebay in order to do the Sprint BYOD.

Question. Do I need to first get my Verizon number onto the 5s and then do the port over to Sprint.

Or do I just start the port over process when the new phone arrives without doing the step mentioned above.

Thank you for helping a new SDer
We tried doing this deal on the phone for two friends with iPhone 5's. Stopped cold, CSR said iPhone 5 not compatible. So my guess is you need to start the process with Sprint using the newer phone. Remember have your account number, pin ready and call the phone number listed in the title.
Edit: think I misread your question. You should justt Port your number as is. When they ask for your device info, give them new phone. You will need a Sprint Sim of course

can you or any other person tell me how or why did it happen like this..

My new SE was having BLACKLIST STATUS: UNPAID BILLS, SPCS: YES, Activation: NO when I got from Bestbuy but did not activate yet.
Now after activation, it has BLACKLIST STATUS: UNPAID BILLS SPCS: NO, Activation: YES..

Why SPCS: YES changed to SPCS: NO after activation on line?
Was this a Sprint postpaid device?

Yo, can someone in this thread message me the cheapest way to get a phone on this plan from scratch.

I've read about 30 pages, but I'm guessing someone can lay this out for me a lot faster.

I'd appreciate the help Smilie thanks.

The ownership flag shouldn't have changed then. I don't know what else you can do other than try to get a supervisor to straighten it out. I would go to a Sprint corporate store if you can and see what they can do.

Also ask on www.reddit.com/r/sprint
