My SE will arrive tomorrow. I've paid off the balance on the phone and requested the unlock. Do I need to activate it on the Sprint network? I'm going to port out the number to H2O in order to cancel the line from my account. I don't want to mess up my BYOD line. I just received my first bill and it's $4.13. I live in Upstate NY.

Where can I buy a sim for the Moto E4? Someone mentioned sim SIMGLW416Q. Is that the only one that work? I can't find it anywhere online to buy for a decent price.

This worked for me. It contains three different types of sim cards, one of which is 416Q.

WOW! Really????? Can someone else please cross verify this?
I can verify Sprint really does suck and I have swapped old sprint phones onto two BYOD free year lines in the past 2 weeks. I have an old iPhone and old flip phone now active on two of the lines with no extra cost to me.

Put in LG V20 as your phone type, and it will allow you to order a SIMGLW416Q for $2.99 plus tax. Free shipping.

That card will work with this Sprint deal???? Sprint will accept it? Is it somehow associated with or locked in with Twigby?

An SIMGLW416Q is an SIMGLW416Q. It works. Twigby is a Sprint MVNO.

Is the Sim Card that the steps in this deal says must be sent from Sprint associated with this Free Deal? Must the SIM Card Sprint sends on the Free Deal signup be used? Does Sprint already associate it with your account when they send it out to you?

You can use your own SIM. I have 3 lines using my own SIM, one I got from Ting, one I got from FreedomPop, and one I got from Twigby. You have to call to get your account activated.

Sprint marries the SIM ICCID number you provide to the IMEI you provide,

Anyone successfully switch from cellnuvo to sprint? I have Nexus6 with cellnuvo, shows ineligible on sprint website. Called Sprint, one rep told me that she can submit a request of unlocking my phone, even though I told her that my phone is unlocked, and asked her to change MVNO flag or device ownership from PLBL to SPCS. But she didn't know that at all.

I think Sprint explicitly wants you to buy the sim online. How will you activate your own sim?

Do you have to call to get it activated no matter if you use the SIM they send you thru this deal, or, one from somewhere else like Twigby? I thought everything for this deal was done online. Some people have posted issues when they called in & tried to register for this deal, so I would like to avoid that if possible. (Thanks very much for you quick & informed replies!!)

I activated my first line by phone. The CSR specifically asked if I had my own SIM. It indeed was not easy, but mostly due to some nonsensical credit issue.

I think you HAVE to activate subsequent lines by phone.
