Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Only have two months left on my gUDP on Verizon before the price hike and am using very little data these days because I work from home so often. So long Verizon, time to port my number out again.

Can I signup for this plan using iphone SE and then use the sim card in any unlocked phone after the activation process? My current S7 Edge phone is not eligible. Can I use the activated sim card in S7 edge after some time? please help...
No.

If your S7 Edge is a Verizon, TMobile, AT&T or other non-Sprint carrier, it will never work on Sprint's network, they won't whitelist it. If it is a factory unlocked S7 Edge, you can get it whitelisted if it is the US model.

No, if his S7 Edge isn't eligible it is because it is from a different carrier and it won't ever be whitelisted by sprint.

S7 Edge is verizon unlocked phone...any way to get it work after activation with SE phone? Will this S7 Edge can't be used on sprint at all or only not for this particular 1 year plan offer?

That can never be used on Sprint at all no matter what the plan. NEVER. They won't whitelist it. No SIM swapping on Sprint.

All unlocked iPhone 6s should work. Only issue is if the phone is in sprints database or if it has sprint MVNO flag on it.

What do you get when you put phone imei and eligible number in eligibility checker?
"if it has sprint MVNO flag on it."
I assume Sprint have just added FreedomPop as an MVNO flag on my iPhone 7? It passed the test this past Friday, but now fails. Is there a work around?

There is a way to add non-Sprint but otherwise capable models of the S7/S7E/S8/S8+, but it's a huge YMMV. I wrote these instructions a few years ago regarding the Nexus 6, but everything here is still valid:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Sprint/c...torola_on/

When referring to the phone, make sure you only ever refer to it as an unlocked S7/S7E/S8/S8+. The second you bring another carrier into the mix, you'll likely get shut down.

Let me know how it goes, guys!

No, the Nexus 6 is different, Sprint whitelisted the Nexus 6 because it has the firmware to run on Sprint's network with no flashing needed.

You are giving people false hope. Sprint will not whitelist a phone that you have to flash to get it to work on Sprint.

A Verizon S7 Edge has to be flashed to different firmware - either Sprint or the unlocked version - to get it to work on Sprint. Sprint won't whitelist it.

This question has nothing to do with your post. It has to do with "inactive" phones on Ting.

I have several Sprint Samsung Galaxy phones (S5's and Note 4's) under "inactive" status on Ting. I would like to eventually use 5 of these Galaxy phones to replace the 5 Moto phones I used to sign up for this one-year Sprint free plan.

Do I need to delete the 5 Galaxy phones from Ting to do the swap? Currently these Sprint Galaxy phones are "inactive devices" on Ting.

Yeah. Their MVNO flag is set to "PLBL" right now, likely. Sprint will only activate them if they're set to "SPCS". We do it automatically when a device goes inactive, but devices fall through our robot's fingers all the time for all kinds of reasons. PM me on Reddit with the IMEI and I'll see if I can flip the flag over for you so you can try again. I'm /u/LiterallyUnlimited.

The plan is not completely free. We need to pay nearly $13 every month. See below my online chat.

Jessica: The Administrative charge of $1.99 is applied per line, per month by Sprint to help offset various costs incurred by Federal, State, and Local regulatory programs.

Jessica: Based on your location, the estimated monthly taxes for the plan would be $10.83.

The signal is weak everywhere I go here. No wonder it's nearly free ( my 1st bill is $3.89 ). It is basically useless for me.
