Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Will the sims from Apple store work on this? Also how hard is it to buy a sim from the sprint store? Or from walmart? When i bought a sim free iphone 6s today the guy was nice enough to give me a couple of sprint sims that say 436c on them... should they work?
Those are for iPhones should work

Sprint store charges 10$ for sim + Taxes, I like near corporate store

I don't know if SIM will work, they need to be BYOD SIMs, like SIMOLW506C would work better I guess? 506C? I have no clue what it is, I just ordered the SIM on-line as my old SIM wasn't compatible

https://www.picclickimg.com/00/s/MTIwMFgxNjAw/z/HZ4AAOSwCU1Ywr7l/$/Sprint-3-in-1-SIM-Card-Bring-Your-_1.jpg

Kit looked similar to this https://images-na.ssl-images-amaz...MIZpAL.jpg but was different, I think had c1 v1 or something written on it

Anyways, you can call telereps and they will tell you if will work with your existing sim
It would be great, if there is a place (on the Internet) to check the "SIM compatibility" for a specific mobile phone.

Sweet! Glad it worked out. You can also check your account and usage with the MySprint app.

Nice job and wiki worthy. Be sure to call the promo number to set up your account. Use the porting dept number only if it doesn't go through in a reasonable amount of time.
Thanks, I hadn't spent the requisite 5 hours reading what to do for the next step just yet LMAO , was going to wait for the sim to arrive first.

This thread has SO much confusion and chaos that I think people need to calm down and get a bit more organized.

Slickdeals has grown so much since I was last active. hug

Well try checking status on Ting checker, see what that says.

Or just call the offer for this number if you don't want to investigate in detail yourself and they will help you figure out what the problem is and get it activated.
Thanks for the suggestion. It shows compatible on Ting. I didn't think their people would help. My experiences with them have been horrible. Have people here had success with getting the sprint phone rep to help with compatibility problems?

Sorry that I've asked this before but don't think there were any replies: Does a Verizon iPhone 5C have to be unlocked by Verizon or should it work and be eligible for Sprint regardless?

I realize that many companies will have their sweet spots as well as dead spots -- and frankly the US is huge, but here's my thoughts.

I typically juggle two phones ATT & Verizon. I've traveled around all and both work pretty solid. I give ATT the edge as it has a little more snap overall.

I picked up this Sprint deal just for the heck of it and free international. I took a roadstrip from Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, and across South Dakota (Mt Rushmore), The service was TERRIBLE. I had exactly zero service from Sprint in S Dakota, while Verizon and ATT were fine.

Overall - Sprint is great if you never leave your home city only travel to cities of 1M+ population. This seems to be the case for most people that would call Sprint good. But after this experience, I would NEVER use Sprint as my primary carrier - only as a free backup like I have it now.

Final thoughts. I would love to switch to T-mobile as I believe they have the best deal out there. I read a review too that lots of people in Europe would experience speeds faster than the advertised 2G at times which is awesome... , but can't really switch to them at the moment

I have a Google voice number. I also have a deactivated Nexus 5x. Is it possible for me to Port in the number from Google voice and somehow associate it with my smartphone? I don't understand how it would work...

My $50 referral bonus was verified and supposed to arrive in about a month. When I signed up in June, there wasn't the exclusion language in their ToC for the 1 year free offer. Since then, Sprint specifically added provisions stating that the free plans are not eligible for the referral bonus. So it may not work for others. Not sure.

first do the eligibility check by entering your IMEI and the GV number, if validation is successfully then it will work.

That's true.
Happy with Sprint in central Indiana. Almost same as ATT. Phone signal coverage 100%. Data about avg 3mbps.
On Freeways the speed was more than that while traveling between MI And IN. And saw the same coverage in MI.
TMO was worst, no signal inside office and department stores.
Happy with Free one year plan so far.
Same.

Insert a Verizon Postpaid SIM card (Active or inactive, it doesn't matter) before you turn it on.
