Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Insert a Verizon Postpaid SIM card (Active or inactive, it doesn't matter) before you turn it on.

Will that unlock the cdma portion too?

It has cdma also. It will work on sprint but no spark band 41 lte. Does it pass checker?
If not you may have to ask Sprint to add imei to database.
Thanks, I was relying on bad internet search and the box says GSM, UMTS and LTE.

Regardless, was able to use it. Took an unused Tmobile sim I got from a SD thread 2 years ago and did the $3 Pay as you go activation on it. Then went to activate on the Sprint promotion and had to call in during credit review. Had to put it in my wife's name because I already have two lines on Sprint (and have an ETF of $100 each until end of September). Because I was on the phone to do credit, the rep went through to place the entire order. Tried to use some older iPhone 5s sims I had, but no go. The rep told me I could go get a sim from a local store and they would call back. 30 minutes later I had a sim ready to go. Because the TMobile line was new/pay as you go, there wasn't a full account number in place yet, so they had to call TMobile, then the port went through no problems. Took my cc info and was good to go.

Worked out great, as I needed to get my middle schooler on a plan next month anyway. When the other two lines free up end of September, I was told I could switch them to the $50 + $40 plan, which I may do, but I may also just pay the ETF on each and do the swap with them, though it may be a bit more complex because I'd need to port out, then port back in.

Will the Verizon iPhone se that was on bestbuy purchased after 07/18 work for BYOD Sprint?

Or does this phone have to be active?

I don't have Vz prepaid and that phone only works for prepaid.

Here is what I have done so far.

- Signed up for a new google voice #
- Paid 3 dollars to get it unlocked
- Ported it over
- Called the # and opened up an account. They asked to go to the Sprint store, took almost 2 hours to get a SIM card (long story)
- Activated the service on the phone
- The phone shows as 'No Service'

So I dont know if this worked or not. One thing I will mention is they asked who I have service with and I said att and they said Okay even though it was google voice. I wansn't sure what else to say to them.

Lets hope for the best!

T-Mobile prepaid you have to pay activation fee $10 sim fee and activation
I already have an unused TMobile SIM card. Do I have to fund the line to do a port in of a number to TMobile prepaid?

Sprint store charges 10$ for sim + Taxes, I like near corporate store

I don't know if SIM will work, they need to be BYOD SIMs, like SIMOLW506C would work better I guess? 506C? I have no clue what it is, I just ordered the SIM on-line as my old SIM wasn't compatible

https://www.picclickimg.com/00/s/MTIwMFgxNjAw/z/HZ4AAOSwCU1Ywr7l/$/Sprint-3-in-1-SIM-Card-Bring-Your-_1.jpg

Kit looked similar to this https://images-na.ssl-images-amaz...MIZpAL.jpg [ssl-images-amazon.com] but was different, I think had c1 v1 or something written on it

Anyways, you can call telereps and they will tell you if will work with your existing sim
Any Sprint sim will work if it has the part number required for your phone Model. There are no special BYOD sims. SIms from the Apple store will work provided they gave them to you for your model..

So if I bought a sim free iphone from walmart
..how can I ensure that it will be completely unlocked from the start....even the cdma portion...
If it is the iPhone 6s/6s+, those are the SIM free models subject to the US Reseller Flex Policy and if you insert a Verizon postpaid SIM (active or inactive doesn't matter) in the device for the initial activation, it will be unlocked permanently.

If the SIM you use is inactive, you must activate over WiFi (obviously).

The radios aren't locked, it is the SIM reader that is locked.

But not all iPhones work like that. What model are you getting? If it is the iP6s/6s+, it will work.
