Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Sprint is a piece of work.

Part 1
My wife has an 800+ credit score. She ordered the SIMs and got a letter saying her credit was denied. Called them and they said she needed to go into the store and verify identity with 2 pieces of ID. The store people were completely clueless so she called the credit department number listed on the letter. To cut a long story short after 3 hours in the store and talking to the credit dept they were unable to resolve it and they ran a 2nd credit application. Which Sprint denied again for some mysterious reason. "You will receive a letter in the mail explaining why".

Took 2 hard pulls for no reason.

Part 2
I ended up applying in my name and was approved instantly. My credit score is (slightly) lower than hers. Her iphone SE was switched to Sprint and all we see is 1x or 3G coverage. 2.06 Mbps down and 0.85 down. The Sprint cell site is 300 feet away!

My T-mobile is 27.7 Mbps down and 31.9 up. (Ok the T-mobile cell site is right on top of my office building; Sprint is 2 buildings away).

I was planning to switch too but now I'm having second thoughts...
Credit is more than just score. If she's had a few inquiries or pulls in the past few months, that could be why it's denied. It could also be any number of things from balances, old Sprint accounts, if you did the talking rather than her on the phone call.

Typically, I've found it'll only be one hard pull (because it's from the same company within a specified period of time), but that doesn't help your speed tests. Remember, though, that the iPhone SE lacks Band 41, which is the super fast frequency. If you don't have that, don't expect amazing speeds.

The Wiki pretty much covers it. Search "Google Voice Instructions" when you're at the first page.

So the ticket they put in must have worked, because now both my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edges are active. The first line was added without a ticket, maybe because the rep I got clearly knew what he was doing and fixed it without having to put in a ticket? Anyway, these sales reps are much more helpful than the customer service reps I kept getting when I was trying to get my billing error corrected.

If people were willing to pay a lot for Sprint service, Sprint wouldn't be on the verge of bankruptcy.

Also, you would have to find someone whose credit was so bad that they couldn't pass a credit check even with a deposit otherwise they could open their own free line and who needed postpaid service for some reason such that a prepaid or MVNO line wouldn't work for them.

Then you would have find someone who didn't care about their privacy, didn't care that they would never have access to customer care so they wouldn't be able to troubleshoot any service issues or change their device and didn't care that they are giving up ownership of their number to a complete stranger.

Then you would have to deal with the fact that if they took their SIM out of the country, they could rack up international charges and you would have no way to know until the charges appeared on the account, which can take days to occur and by then thousands of dollars in international charges could have accumulated and you would be 100% responsible for those with no way to escape liability.

Sprint deprioritizes on a line by line basis.
Some good points. Guess I'll just cancel a couple of lines. Should I bother waiting for credit union rewards? I didn't try to get the AA miles. Has anyone received these?

Using A1662 iPhone SE as well, which also lacks band 41. I went to sprint's coverage website [sprint.com] to see how strong the signal would be in my area. I'm getting 15-20 mbps down / 2-3 mbps up. I believe "LTE Plus" is where band 41 is utilized (im not sure on this, just some quick reading on reddit). I went with the iphone SE anyway as I saw that all 3 speeds are pretty well coverage in my area.

No, they only do 1 every 60 days. She got the same response because the system was working off of the original (and only) hard pull. Anyhow, the problem is that something didn't match up so that is why she was told to go to a store and verify identity.

First, is this a Sprint iPhone SE or a non-Sprint? If it is a non-Sprint, well what do you expect? You are choosing to use a gimped phone.

If it is a Sprint phone, the fact that you are only 300 ft from the tower could be the issue, it is called the umbrella effect.

If you are using gimped phones, don't bother switching. Either use phones designed to work on Sprint, or don't bother.

It was showing eligible for me on Saturday/Sunday, looks like they patched it yesterday, cause same IMEI/mobile number is showing in-eligible now. I mean that BestBuy iPhone SE deal, those IMEI won't qualify anymore I think?

When the phone shows a signal again, the phone is ready to use
Then try

I activated my sim and phone(BYOD, nexus 6p) today. I chatted online, and was told that my phone has been locked to Sprint. Is that true? The rep told me that I can unlock my phone at any time, but it will affect my use. Is that true? Can I unlock my phone now and keep using my sprint sim and using other sim occasionally?
Thanks
