Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

eligibility checker doesn't pass for SE and GV. But same SE passes with my verizon number.
Means issue is with GV. I have unlocked it and have set PIN also.

Was on call for more than an hour.
Is area code and prefix in an area with Sprint service?

If the phone number is in an area with no sprint coverage you won't be eligible it sounds like.

But you did get sprint service when bought from Best Buy.

Interesting thing is, it is successful with that H2O number but I didn't recharge that so they won't give account number and pin Big Grin

I'm about to leave H20 Wireless and sign up tomorrow. Do I need to call H20 wireless and get an account number and pin? I am on the pay as you go plan so I don't really know my account number and pin.

asked this on another thread but seeing if there are other experiences that might be able to help me.

ordered iphone 7s+ and picked up from bestbuy on deal that was posted. i talked the bestbuy mobile guy to see if he would give me an inactive verizon SIM so i could unlock the 7s+ i picked up. He said i could do that but that it would no longer activate on the sprint network bc something about it being a universal iphone and sprint does cdma only. He still gave me an inactive verizon SIM anyway but not sure if I should risk the instant unlock by using it. He said it would be better to have sprint unlock if i left the dpp.

Thoughts from the mobile phone experts?

What he is telling you is that if you unlock the device via a Verizon postpaid SIM, the Sprint network will see it as a Verizon device, which is true. However, Sprint will let Verizon iP7+ on their network, you may just need to get them to add the IMEI to their whitelist via the DNA2 tool.

A Verizon iP7+ works on all 4 national carriers, but like i said, you may have to get Sprint to add the IMEI to their whitelist.

Anybody have the Tmobile $30 5gb plan and left it for this? You do realize they cancelled that plan a few months ago so you were grandfathered in. You can't get back in a year from now. Just saying because I debated it for weeks.

how likely is it that i will need to go down that route for whitelist? outlier and rare or fairly common? and if i need to go down that route is it quick for sprint to do? kinda running against time for the byod!

dunno. It just depends on if Sprint added the Verizon IMEIs to their whitelist or not.

I was able to port in a Verizon iPhone 6s with no issue but when I tried to swap my Moto X Pure (different line) with a different Verizon iPhone 6s it would not let me do it online. Can they do it via chat?

Question: Once a phone is whitelisted will it remain that way from here on out even of it is deactivated and activated on a different line later on down the road?
