Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

You can only do that on Sprint if you are using VoIP for your call, such as Hangouts app. Or if you are connected to WiFi.
Yup, I stand corrected. Tested again without WiFi and no go.
Crap, Verizon allowed it. Oh well.

It's not that Verizon "allowed" it, it is that Verizon implemented VoLTE on their network so that is why it works on Verizon but only if you have a VoLTE capable phone.

Thanks for reminding me BB's restocking fee. However, do they have 14 days grace period for all cellular phones purchased...???
Also no restocking fee in a few states if AL, CO, HI, IA, MS, OH, OK, SC.

Fortunately, I found a laying dead FP number (which has never been used for more than 4 months) to port-in to Sprint - BYOD free plan. After my contemplating...for the last attempt, I spent another 45 mins to call Sprint BYOD Promotion Dept. to continue the device activation & port-in.

Yes, the last attempt was successfully completed...!!!
My 1st Moto-E4 was successfully activated & after waiting for about 1 hr, the dead number from FP was reported as successful porting in to Sprint BYOD plan.
Just curious. Were those gsm numbers or cdma numbers from FP?

Even if you call the promo line on the 31st to open the account and order a sim, I'm pretty sure you'll get the plan. If you have an eligible phone and the correct sim you should be good to go. Just call

It's FP's GSM number...which I have a few, for $0.99/each + $5 for the top-up.

I asked that question at the end of June and got conflicting answers. Probably best to call, chat, or email Sprint I reckon.

Nice. In case you didnt know, you can use the same FP account after porting. Just request a new number from FP. Rinse and repeat.

Why are they Asking me for account and PIN number for my current carrier. Why would I ever give an entity my PERSONAL Identification Number??? Sounded shady.
Yeah, I know what you mean. They also wanted my SSN, IMEI, credit card info and home address and asked me some questions about my mortgage! I told him this is America and I'm not giving my personal information away for nothing! Really shady! He put me on hold and he told me his supervisor authorized him to offer me the secret free year plan so I was like OKAY! But then I think he stole my identity and cancelled my account because my Verizon phone doesn't work anymore. :'(

Jumped on this deal and just activated the Sprint SIM.

It picked up the voice network in about a minute and calls started getting through. A few more minutes and the data showed up but it's showing 3G with 2Mb/1Mb speed test.

Do I need to reload some profile to get it to run. I think the phone currently has profile for H2O.
