Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Who do you think gives the IMEI numbers to Sprint to put in the DMD in the first place? Apple. .
Because Sprint asks for them. But it isn't Apple doing anything to Sprint's DMD. It is Sprint asking Apple for the IMEIs.

You are wrong about this.

They are both factors. Or can be in different cases.
You are definitely giving out bad info if you are talking about the ownership flag to someone with a Chinese purchased iPhone. You don't understand how all of this is implemented.

IF and ONLY IF an IMEI is whitelisted is there an ownership flag. You don't understand that.

The Chinese purchased iPhone hasn't been whitelisted, hence, no ownership flag exists. You are confused and you are confusing others now.

It will exist if it is added to the database, which is what I was referring to.

No, you weren't. The OP said his Chinese iPhone that he had never used on the Sprint network at all was denied, you brought up the ownership flag. The ownership flag doesn't exist for the Chinese iPhones since they aren't whitelisted and aren't in the DMD.

The problem is Sprint doesn't have the Chinese iPhones in their DMD so there can't be any ownership flag. The ownership flag is only an issue if the phone is whitelisted. Then it is in the DMD and will have an ownership flag. A Chinese iPhone won't have an ownership flag until it is entered into Sprint's DMD (aka the sprint whitelist).

Only secondarily in response to the immediately preceding post which had said "That will be great! Just ran through Ting BYOD IMEI check and it says compatible with both GSM and CDMA. Do you know how long does it take to be added to Sprint's list after this?"

So I was saying that even if it was added by that process (which I pointed out was unlikely), there could then be further issues including the ownership flag.

That's all.

Question how's the voice quality and data like on sprint. I noticed you from Howard forums and we live in the same area. We're thinking about switching from cricket to sprint. We also have all wifi calling phones so we would do most at calling at home anyway. Thanks.

Site says my phone is not compatible!
I have an iPhone SE from Verizon which is unlocked. I tried placing my friends sprint SIM card and it does get signal

Are they restricting people to sign on?

You need to get that phone added to the Sprint database. Either done via store or phone.

I added a VZ unlocked 5s through the store which is working on this plan.

If you're already on a Sprint MVNO (Tello), what's the easiest way to get this deal? Is there a good way, or is it likely to take longer to sort out than we have?

I assume this has been talked about already, but it's a LONG thread. Sorry if I missed it on the front page though.

Port out your number to ATT, T Mobile, or any of their MVNO (H20, FreedomPop ,,,,).
Clear your phone of the flag message reddit guy LiterallyUnlimited
Then you can setup the account
