Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

WARNING - DO NOT TRY TO DO THIS DEAL IN-STORE

To get the free service and activate online you need to click the free year promotion link, check your eligibility and order a SIM card there. Once you receive the SIM you can activate it online - quick and painless and guaranteed to be put on the free BYOD plan. After initial activation, more free lines can easily be added but only by calling the promo number below.

If you would like to get a SIM locally to save time and $10 shipping you have to call the Promo number @ 866-782-8777 to set up service and activate your line.
Read the end of the wiki...someone said it won't work over the phone and someone said phone agents have no idea of this promo

I'm on the phone with them right now and I'll correct wiki either way

I signed up for the free line for the Moto G4 (got it from amazon/ads July 2016) and have issue with no LTE only 3g for data, I also have the Moto G5 plus activate, no issue with LTE . I follow the wiki instruction "Possible Solution for Moto G4 No LTE issues" but still no LTE. Is anyone have a fix. I will try to reset the phone to factory next.

I didn't have to lie when I called. I told them t-mobile prepaid, Freedompop, Ring.to...Sprint needs new postpaid customers.

So I'm trying to read through the thread and some say yes, some say no. I've had service for a month now but I want to switch back to my old phone (one that is not on the list). Will this mess anything up? One guy said he did it and his plan remained the same while others said CS said the plan would change if switching to a non qualified device.
No it won't change anything or it's not supposed too. I chatted online with the rep and sucsfully switched phones and still have my free plan.

With T-Mobile prepaid it is the account number. I ported into sprint with my phone number and it worked.

I started Sprint service a few days ago (Best Buy promo) but decided to cancel anyway before activation. But my account is still showing active and the cancellation request is apparently awaiting once the returned Best Buy Phone to be received back by Sprint.

Any ideas if I can still do the promo or am I stuck waiting for 45 days and hoping that the offer comes up again?

Website does not let me proceed as it says "new customers only." Would the phone line be willing to extend the offer since technically I haven't activated new service yet?

Does anyone know if an unlocked Galaxy Note 8 would qualify to work on the Sprint network? (or only the "Sprint branded" Note 8?)
Quote from JoKeR_ :
Yes it will work, I used my unlocked galaxy s8 plus on this promotion.
Thanks ... Does it take some kind of "special" sim card?

And does it work "as well as" a Sprint-branded one? ... I'm wondering if there are any drawbacks to an unlocked one on Sprint?

check on-line and the account shows what was promised

For new users:
get a Tmobile card and activate a pay as you go account...SIM should be free (just ask for one..you might have to go diferent places to get it free)
Don't fund the account just get pin number and phone number (you'll need them later)
3-4 hours later call Sprint while you have a Sprint SIM ready (make sure you have a correct SIM..got it for $9 from BestBuy and free from Target) ..Sprint has many SIMs so make sure you have the correct one for your phone
Call in while you have promo ready
Provide everything Sprint agent needs from you and as account number provide your phone number with 1 in front
15 min later you should be able to make calls with your sprint account

The sim they sent me in the mail was a special kit called an i-sim kit which is the only sim kit the S8 and S8 + are taking that will work on Sprint. I'm sure it will be the same case for the Note 8. I hope this helps.

SIM code? it should be bolded letter on the actual card the sim is attached to

I want to check my sims to see how "special" your sim is..so users know if they can find it locally or not

Thanks again ... And do you think it functions as well on the Sprint network as a Sprint-branded S8+ would?

It should function the same way to the sprint branded S8+. The only differences would be that when it comes to software updates carriers get them first over the unlocked devices and there is no carrier bloatware but other than that performance should be identical.
