So the sim I received didn't work for note 8, I had to go to the store and ask for the compatible sim. The rep activated it in store confirming that we're good with byod offer but once it's all activated, tells me that there's some problem so issued an e-ticket with Sprint cc now which gets resolved in 24-48 hours. I'm hoping my offer isn't screwed up.

It is very dangerous to let the store touch the plan as they are not trained on the free offer and often convert it to a paid plan as that is all they know how to handle. Personally I would call in and try to check on what they are trying to do and abort it if it is wrong.

You're right. The rep was an idiot! Now I've to go to the store again, the manager will have to deactivate the line, port it back to AT&T and then I'll have to call the 800 number for them to activate it back on Sprint. Waste of time once again

Kind of confused reading this. I'm with at&t now and have three unlocked iPhones that I checked with sprints phone checker and they will work. If I sign up online, I'll get one year of unlimited phone service for all three lines? Is the credit check just for the named account holder, or everyone on the plan? Will the switch leave me without phone service for any period of time? Thanks.

I have 5 lines on a legacy sprint family plan. I was going to bring 2 relatives onto my account from Verizon and start a new unlimited plan so they can use my corporate discount. Also once my subsidies end on the existing lines next year I can move them over, ending up with 7 lines on the new unlimited plan, which would end up being in the low $20s per line.

Now my question, if there are any sprint reps on this thread, can I move my two relatives to my account and start this free unlimited plan under my name/account? My wife owns the account for their 2 lines, so they can use her corporate discount. So I could also just start the new plan under her name if it's a deal breaker.

Thanks for the help in advance

Credit check only for account holder. Port from att should take minutes when porting/activating so you shouldn't be without service.

Got an unlocked Nexus phone previously on Ringplus then Tello. Getting the 'Not Compatible' error.
Tried chatting and calling to clear the IMEI for Sprint but not having any success. Any tips?

I have paid Sprint lines that I need to move to this plan, where I have only one line open. I got H2O sims, can I get them activated on H2O prepaid plan for couple bucks a day and do a port to H2O and to free Sprint on the same day?

Personally, I would recommend TMobile - done multiple ports with TMobile in the middle without any problems. I just worry about no-name carriers...

So how do you get a sim card if they want you to call in for credit check. One user complained that when they did the credit check they created an account and it made them lose the ability to get the free year

if u want to keep number, which i am guessing u do, u will have to add funds to h20 $10 per line, for them to give u the account number and pin

like someone else suggested...best to go with TM, as it will only cost u ~$3 per line

i did w h20, was not pleasant experience, i was fine with paying $10, as i didn't know about TM then...but w h20, i couldn't even get the phone to work after ~ 3 hours trouble shooting with rep,,

once i ported out of h20, in 24 hours...filed charge back with cc company , which was in my favor, and all is well

Can I switch to a different sprint phone like Samsung s6 which is not in the list after signing up with a supported device? Anyone else tried that?
