I want to buy a sim today rather than wait for the one that is being mailed to me because I want to make sure I get activated today before the deadline. Will a Sprint store sell me a BYOD sim kit without a hassle or do I need to go to BB?

Based on posts here I think it depends on the store. Others said Apple store works for iPhone owners. I signed up last night and ordered SIM cards to be shipped. I don't think they will arrive until Monday, but when checking out it had me agree to auto pay and said I am getting free unlimited for a year. Don't see how they could take it away from me just because I wasn't able to activate by 9/30.

My phone needed a specific sim kit and of the 5 sprint stores in my area 3 had it, and each gave a different price. Got my 506c sim kit for my moto g5 plus for $10 with no issues just purchasing that.

Activated my MOTO X PURE today in BYOD plan. Unable to Simultaneous talk and surf. I see the same issue with many (almost every) user/s. Is there a fix for this? Any help is greatly appreciated.

You must get the sim at a corporate store and NOT a Sprint reseller (can't tell from outside of building). I got one at corp store for $10. and has Virgin Mobile, Boost Mobile, and Sprint logos on it.

I just finished activating my SIM and porting my number, and everything seemed to work ok. I've tested the network and received texts.

However, I can't seem to create a Sprint account. It keeps saying my phone number is invalid, or when I try to register my phone's serial number it says that's invalid too now. At one point, I got most of the way through but then it booted me back to the first page saying my session expired and to try again. Now when I try to register, I just the the invalid messages. Is there a trick to registering? Or do I just need to wait a while? I don't seem to have ever gotten anything indicating my account # or that I had an account setup for me. I ordered the SIM online and brought my own unlocked device.

Got Moto E4 Plus signed up zip code 98226 I'm only getting 2 mbps with speed test. Is the new phone bad? Or the signal?

Check the Wiki on the first page of this thread where people have listed their zip codes, taxes and speeds. Post your experience there.
Speeds range from 1Mb Down / 50Kb Up to 80 Mb Down / 10Mb Up.
Sprint's data speeds are very erratic around the US, and are usually much lower than the other major cell providers.
People avoid Sprint for that reason and it's probably one of the reasons for this 1 year free Sprint service. No one in their right mind would pay $40-$60/mo for such low quality service, and most people go with the other major cell providers.

Must wait 120 days to change number ported in? So no placeholder number?

fyi, the Boost tri-sim card kit is also available at Target stores (in case you dont have BB nearby. Many sprint stores dont even carry sims).
