I bought the device brand new from Amazon direct, not a third party seller. Its a Moto X Pure edition. It was never used on Sprint before. Every Sprint MVNO IMEI check is passing eligibility. Ive spent nearly an hour on the phone being transferred to different depts at Sprint. Nobody really knows about the plan or how to fix the IMEI issue. I missed the number in the thread, ill give that one a try.

EDIT- I give up, this isnt worth it. Every number and dept I try nobody knows how to fix it, or I just get hung up on after wait on hold forever.
Is the Moto X model XT1575 and is it currently active on any carrier?

....waiting for someone to port out of the current deal, and port back in to get close to 15 months more......I will do it next month!
do you mean for a one line in account.. or altogether starting a new account after porting out?
if you are using ssn from previous account then i doubt it.
if you are using new ssn (other person) for new account then obviously you will get full offer again.... what is doubt..

Sorry, it's I who wasn't being clear. To do this you DO need to Port out, then back in with a new SS#.........EEK!

So I was only able to get 1 line activated before 10/31 "deadline" and was pissed they pushed that through last minute, literally. Next day brought about 1/31/19 through date, so I started account #2 with under wife's ssn.

was thinking about pulling the 1st line that expires in October to total wireless and back to 2nd account. I thought I saw people who had done it end of last month or maybe the deadline before it. Seems to come up whenever there is a new "savings through" date.

Nobody's done this, or successfully at least????

How are people swapping the device ? I've called 5 times and tried chat option as well with no success. They insist that the phone I wish to swap to must be from their network and that I cannot bring my own phone from another carrier. Thus pretty much goes against the BYOD policy.

You've been unlucky. Several have done a similar swap over chat with no problem. Can also do the swap directly online.

It sounds as if the phone you are swapping in may not be compatible.

Nope. No Sprint-branded prepaid phones (with rare exceptions that do not include your situation, e.g served a full paid year on Boost or Sprint Prepaid).
