My daughter has an old iPhone 5s that has failing battery. Can I buy an unlocked iPhone 7 from Apple store and swap one of my phones and still keep the free plan? Thanks

I am planning to upgrade 5 phones tomorrow at Sams club. I will get $300 gc on each. It's one day sale today but got appointment for tomorrow. Any one already upgraded and free plan still intact ?
I did an upgrade at sams club today. I was on free unlimited signed up before 08/01, so I was eleigible for upgrade after 10/01. The plan got changed to unlimited freedom after upgrade. Now figuring out what to do with sprint customer service

Same issue resulted in getting the runaround for weeks than got to someone (forgot the phone number but someone listed it in the thread around 10/3-13) and sprint was not really interested in resolving and said if ported within 48 hours they would only charge $10 per line on new plan for the time said line was on new plan. Than received a C&D/Ban letter from sprint and than received a promo flyer from Sprint asking to come back and offering $200 per line to bring back 5 lines.

So I would say Sprint wants your line open and wants to ban you for not paying full price.

It was sorta surreal that sprint would send a C&D letter after agreeing to reduce the charges and close the account rather than keep the customer. The numbers were already ported and than they sent a thing asking the customer to come back to sprint.... not a wonder why they are failing.

good luck to you.....

oh, and as per sprint terms "Can Sprint suspend or terminate services? [sprint.com] We hope we won't need to do this but . . . we reserve the right to suspend, cancel, or block service any time for any reason."

What's the cheapest/easiest phone to get this to do it with?

There is so much content that it's hard to go through it all, and yes, I've read the WIKI.

Do I need to get a new SPRINT or UNLOCKED phone, transfer my STRAIGHT TALK service to it and then order a SPRINT sim, then transfer my service to SPRINT using this promo, from what I understand?

I had Ting release their ownership flag on the phone today. They said it was set back to SPCS.

I tried to sign up for BOYD, and it's now saying: It doesn't look like your phone(s) will work on our network, but we still have great deals online to help you save. Head to our store and begin saving. Ineligible, this phone does not qualify for this offer.

What do you think I should do now?
I would try calling the Sprint Telesales number for this offer - it may go right through if they enter it. I have seen that happen. G2 is a widely known phone, it was on Sprint before, you had it on Ting, a gazillion people have them on Sprint still, it will go on wth some patience. For best results it may pay to call during the day when they can call on their technical support resources. You can try now to start at least in case it does go right through.

And/or you can ask LiterallyUnlimited on Reddit or here. Maybe Ting did it wrong. He is probably in charge of managing that area at Ting (but do not contact him through Ting to be fair to him). He knows a lot more than just about that flag and may be able to see what the problem is.

Tidal Trial does not allow me to select 6 month (only 30 day ones). Spoke to Sprint chat and they said they were to text me a new link in 20 min.. Well, the shat feast of Sprint continues. No texts..on all three lines. Anyone here know how to get the Tidal six month option to appear in the iPhone app? Porting issues, tidal issues.. it never ends with Sprint..

Is this plan eligible for the 6 month Tidal trial?
I think some here have contacted the Tidal website support staff and been told that this plan is not eligible for it.

I just waited and tried to open page in incognito - saw 6 months, never saw confirmation - but it says administered by Sprint, so hope everything is ok.
I have another issue with Tidal - sound quality is better for Spotify, but I can only login on the phone - working more than week with their (Tidal) support to get login/password to use on desktop vomit

Yes, see attached. Its available to select as an add-on. Also listed in the wiki here.

I tried fixing it myself because I never want to contact Sprint for anything. This fix (unblocking everything did not work). I was already unblocked to begin with

My Iphone 6s+ passes the sprint BYOD checker, but it was on Ringplus, and afterwards on Ting, and now it is on Redpocket. Do I need get the MVNO flag reset prior to activating it online.

I have a credit check problem. I went to a direct corporate Sprint store with 2 family members to set up an account and PIN. Each of us separately failed the credit verification with 3 questions, and we were told we have to wait 60 days to apply again. Something is seriously wrong with the credit check system as we all have good credit.

Will do--i'll see if Sprint telesales can get me a BYOD line and if not, will need to reach out to LiterallyUnlimited. BYOD would require a new customer to open the line, right? Or would I still have it under my own account login data?

Please post an update when you can. I'm one step behind you. I bought my G2 from Freedompop, used it on Ringplus and Ting. It has been deactivated from Ting since Feb. The Ting checker says that I can use it on their network, but the Sprint checker says that I still owe money for it. I just sent an email to Ting asking them to change the ownership flag.

I'll contact them tomorrow unless I forget while watching football. Not even sure if they're open tomorrow, but I'll give it a go.

If you already have an account under this FREE BYOD offer you would just add it as an additional line.
If you have an existing Sprint PAID account then you would need to create a new account under this offer with a DIFFERENT SSN because existing Sprint customers are not eligible for this offer.

By the way, if creating a new account over the phone, be sure to say "FREE BYOD plan" every time and not just "BYOD Plan". There is also a paid BYOD plan. They will read back the agreement at the end and people need to say "Yes" only if the wording is "$5 a month plus taxes with $5 credit for autopay", not if it is like $40 or $50 a month.
