https://www.dailysteals.com/colle...smartphone
No(Sprint won't whitelist and even if they did would only get 1x,3g, no lte)

No(used, 2014, sealed battery, made for verizon service and lacks full lte bands for gsm carriers like att, tmobile,)

Sorry you had so much trouble. Many of us have been more lucky. Let us know if it gets straightened out.
just wanted to share FYI and update from my experience.

After 6 days of confusion and dealing with lost CS reps from different plan/program/what-not, some service manager from Sprint called and apologized stating "there is nothing they can do."

Apparently, when porting did not go through smoothly (unlike many others on this thread has experienced) 866 call number CS called me and offered to help but placed me on the $140 plan by accident (nobody knows why this happened), then on my next call (1st call I made to complain) another CS split my 2 ported numbers into 2 separate plans hence the monthly total topped near $200 for the 2 lines.

In the end (after 10+ hours spent on 8 calls), the last manager who called somehow managed to place both of my numbers into a single $120 plan for 2 lines but not the "free for 1 year promo." (according to her, nobody can move my numbers to that plan anymore) It was just ironic and funny that the manager mentioned about Sprint's 14 days satisfaction guarantee program immediately following that and asked me to remain on the $120 plan as their service is superior. I moved back to T-Mobile within 1 hour of speaking to Sprint.

Glad to see most of you had better experience, but I vow "NEVER EVER SPRINT or anything that has to do with them" even if it is for free.

Has anyone had a single good experience with Sprint? Customer service has now twice asked me to wait 1 sec, while they quietly transfer me out to general care. This is a joke. Of course the new person doesn't know where the call came from.

For new customer on the Essential phone deal, after I paid off the phone and cancel the $45 line, I want to set up a free one year line with this phone, is the phone still eligible for one year free plan because it's bought from Sprint instead of bring your own phone. I'm just worried that they may not allow me to use this phone on one year free plan after cancel the $45 line. Thanks very much for your help.
Some people on Reddit say they have done something like that.

However if you do not already have the free plan, but do have a paid plan, then you would be an existing customer and so not eligible for the free plan for 45 days after your paid plan was completely closed.

You could get around the latter if you have another family member who can sign up for the free plan under their SSN.

Yes call to create account with one number because website bombed. Call to port in second number to placeholder phone. Tried to switch placeholder to a boost phone via chat that didn't work. Created new line to buy SE since boost phone didn't work. Payed off boost phone, ported out number. Chatted with sprint to activate SE on second line to replace placeholder. Chatted to worldwide support to add Japan $5 travel option. So all relative smooth four or five months in.

I would not attempt to talk you out of it of course, and your complaint is fully justified, but just for the benefit of others, these probems can usually be resolved by contacting https://twitter.com/marcicarris?lang=en as has been posted many times in this thread,

I have helped port 10 lines from Verizon and T-Mobile on 10 different accounts. Not a single one had issues with being placed on wrong plan. What I did was make sure each account that was ported to have the representative triple check and repeat what plan is being setup on.

There was one instance the representative had no clue, we simply hung up and called again to find a representative that knew about the plan.

On the initial port and setting up the account did you have verify what plan you are going to be on?

So has anyone successfully upgraded through Sprint *before* their official 120 day upgrade date? Just curious and hoping to gather some data points. Thanks!
