I'm planning to. My new iPhone X is arriving tomorrow. Hopefully, no unpleasant surprises with iPhone X on Sprint BYOP!

Nope! I was hunting for one for the last many weeks, but couldn't get anything (other than some lame trade-in deals from telcos). So, I ended up ordering one from apple.com

Also, I heard that many Walmarts couldn't get the iPhone X in time for their Black Friday deal ($300 Walmart card).

To me, $41.62 per month plus a free Sprint connection for a year seemed like a great idea; and I'm going for it!

Not normal for 1 line. Normal for 3 or 4 lines.
Does it have that bogus $7.99 account spending limit charge?
Yes, $7.79 spending limit surcharges.
What do I do or say when I contact them? Call the telesales number or chat?

Billing chat.
It's a credit / billing / autopay issue, not a plan or eligibility issue.

This might save someone some time who is moving to iPhone X from the free unlimited plan. Bought the Verizon iPhone X from Apple store. They will give you a sprint sim free but that might not work. Incompatible when trying transfer the number. Went to the sprint store and they can't help as they won't see this plan. They also will give you a some free but that might not work again. After couple of hours, talked to spring online and asked for the type of sim that works with the phone. They gave that to me, it apparently is a simglw426q type. Used that sim and activated and everything is good.
Wouldn't it have been simpler to just buy the Sprint iPhone X from the Apple store?

Yes. No issues swapping them onto my account.

And it looks like Sprint has a chat bot now to handle device swaps. Makes it incredibly simple.

When I ordered a Sim card from twigby, the e-mail I got from them had a blank tracking number. It's been almost a week and I have no way of knowing when it's going to come, is that normal?

I wonder how many people are gonna bolt in month 12. That can't look good for churn. I feel like Sprint should have made Year 2 half-price and Year 3 full-price. Its a huge bump from $0 to $60 despite it being $30/month (avg) over the same period.

Why stop there make it free for life. Didn't they have unlimited for life promo a few years back?

Usually 3 days but mail can be variable.
Mine never had tracking numbers either.

They will know this too and will have to have some special offers at the end.
Whether they will be attractive enough for me to stay is doubtful though.
They might even just authorize Customer Retentions to make low-price deals on an individual basis in which case we can all share what their bottom line appears to be when the time comes.

Can someone help me with this: I've read the wiki but want to confirm if my plan sounds right.

I have a Verizon iphone 6s which is not used - I had ported out the number to Tmobile prepaid or H20 (not sure) during the Verizon deal 2 yrs ago. How do I get in on this Sprint deal using the Verizon iphone 6s? No phone number is attached to it currently.

1)Should I get a Tmobile sim and activate phone on the prepaid $3 monthly plan first, and when phone is on, use that phone number and IMEI on Sprint's website to port it to Sprint? Turn off phone, get a Boost Mobile sim from BB for $9.99 and swap Tmobile sim with Boostmobile sim, turn on phone to activate on Sprint? Does this sound correct?

Or should I just go get my Verizon phone activated at a Verizon store for their $70/line plan and after a few days port out the number to Sprint. Use Boost Mobile SIM to activate the phone after it gets ported?

A step by step would be helpful. Any advice appreciated. I don't want to screw this up..
