Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Actually the trend is turning back in that direction with Apple's esim.
It's different. In general, esim can be activated on any compatible network and there is a physical SIM card slot for you to install a new sim.

There are a bunch of pros as well as cons to Sprint's approach but it is largely off-topic.

Please provide detailed history of both accounts and numbers of lines in each account. Are both accounts BYOD free accounts?
both accounts are BYOD, I have 4 lines and there is an air rave attached to it that I haven't used, but it's attached to the account and counts as the 5th line.

SO has 2 lines.

I've already initiated the transfer of owership and accepted and it can take up to 5 days to fully go through, but I don't know if it will go through because I'm only approved for 5 lines.

You have to call if you are bringing your own sim because the online process includes the purchase of a sim and will not proceed until you do so.

Call the 8777 number that specializes in this offer. Do not call Customer Service as they do not understand all the details of this special offer.
Hi--I am confused and need help. You seem to know about this, so I'm hoping you can answer. Happy to rep you if you can clear things up for me.

1. I have a Moto G4 Plus.

2. I went to the Sprint store (unfortunately they were out of "mine" or I could have had it free). They photographed the SKU for it from their computer and came up with 760492034500. He said that is absolutely the correct sim that I need. I can upload the pic if necessary.

3. That agrees with this site (the bestcellular one), but as you can see, ALL the ones listed seem to use the same one https://bestcellular.com/byod-sim...e-devices/

4. I keep seeing this link in this thread, that is supposedly reliable. But one, it's for Ting, so I don't see how it will work with the Sprint promo, and two, it lists two different SKUs for my phone, neither of which is even close to 760492034500. It indicates both CZ410PLWC and CZ2144LWC, depending on sim size
https://help.ting.com/hc/en-us/ar...r-SIM-Card

It seems to differenciate them by sim card size. Most cards are 3-1 anyway, which I don't see listed. My phone takes a micro, but I have an adaptor, so a nano is fine (actually preferable since that makes it more flexible to use).

Sooo, I'm lost

To make porting easy, well even possible, your going to NEED your account pin or security pin as it may be called. My brief google search says the pin is 8 digits and default may be the account holders date of birth in an 8 digit numerical form. Best bet is to call support and see about getting it, or changing it, or finding a place in your metropcs account that requires the pin and see if DOB works.

Yes total cost for the sim card is only $. 01 but I think you have to fund your account and use it for 3-5 days so they will generate an account number and pin for you.

Desi did this recently, maybe he can chime in or people who are interested can scroll a few pages back for his compendious summary.

h2o wireless sim is $0.01 at Amazon. You have to load it with $10 which will give you 3 months of 5c/minute talk time. You have to wait for at least 1 week before you can port it out. You need to call them to get the account number + pin; when you call, you need to provide the last three telephone numbers that you called.

AT&T had a promotion of $1 sim for prepay account; it is no longer available, but if you can find it at a low cost, you need to load it with only a few dollars to get a phone number (online will require you to load $10 or so; but you can call and tell them you want to try it out in your area and get away with $2 or so).

I have activated a Dura XT flip phone. It has no sim. $10 to $15 on Ebay.
I had to call in for it to be recognized as eligible.
