Hmm. When I signed up on the phone a couple of weeks ago with Sprint, when the original agent conferenced in the credit person, they noted that I had a fraud alert placed on my credit reports; because I had put a phone number on file with that, the credit person simply called me on that number (another phone fortunately) and verified that it was me, then was able to proceed. Everything was done for me in one long phone call. But I never had a credit freeze on any of my credit reports, so I'm not sure what having one even in the past would mean.
Thanks for the reply. I had the freeze, but no FA. So since already removed the freeze last night, it should be ok. Need to do more research. I took the temp appl no, so this will help me little bit when i call again.

Instead of exchange, ask B&H if you can order a new one now with the same price and return the glitchy phone for a refund.
Gave it a try. After spending about 25 mins while the salesman tried to get me that price, in the end they said no.

The Moto phones are back on sale at B&H, but not as good of a sale. ie. The G4 Plus 64 GB is $180. Good price, but not worthy of posting on here IMO

Hmm. Free international calling? Sounds too good tbh. Ask for there are any fees or charges associate with making those calls and/or using those minutes. This doesn't sound right. That being said, I would like to have that service if it was free as well.
I'm talking about this. There is $5 option but this is different.

It is a ludicrously overpriced 40 or 50 cents a minute on this plan. It says so in the announcement.

It is free on other plans but not this one. It has never been advertised as free on this plan.

You cannot get it free either by enabling Intl Calling. You can add it as a $5 a month package.

Do billing chat and ask for a credit on the Canada charges.
Sprint is so wacky. Because I signed up near beginning of this promo I might have this service?

You would think so from the dashboard alright, but selecting it will have no effect. I tried 3 times over 3 days and they refused to give it to me when I complained to them that it was not working. You even get automated confirmation messages but you do not get the actual features.

They just use the same web pages as for their paid plans, but ignore it on the back end when you select them on this plan.

The main Sprint web page for this plan specifically excludes Premium Intl Experience in the footnote.

You are more than welcome to try it and complain also when you find it does not take effect..

No, I believe you. Everytime I've contact Sprint, it left me bad taste in my mouth because reps are clueless and I can feel lack of training.

Seriously considering moving out of BYOD plan. I've wasted so much of my time and energy just trying to get a simple thing done, like switching a SIM card.

Did you know that you cannot get SIM card from retail Sprint store if you have BYOD plan? I just found out. If that's not true, then I've been just fooled again by mis-informed Sprint retail rep.

I know what you mean. One side of me is waiting for it to be over.
A few stores, mainly some Sprint corporate owned ones, will give away sims but many/most will not. They are highly commission driven.

I have an unlocked Moto E4 ($129 retail price) as my Sprint phone. I have already used hotspot quite a bit. One nice thing is that this is a dual band phone, so I can have my hotspot work on 5GHZ (which is useful to me). It's also a pretty nice phone in addition to being able to use it as a hotspot.

However...I have noticed that I experience occasional slowdowns using the hotspot, and I have been unable as of yet to figure out the reason. This has happened several times now over the period of a few weeks. I've used hotspots for years with difference providers and on different phones, and this is unusual. Some websites seem to work fine, but other seem to stall out...web pages look like they are about to load but never respond. I might have guessed a DNS issue, but it doesn't seem to be a problem looking up names, and when I pop onto my VPN (which uses Google DNS), it does the same thing. I'm not dropping the VPN so I can't be losing the internet connection.
Thanks for the feedback. I see the E4 Plus is $99 too, so might try that out and see how it does. The slowdown issue is a little troubling though. Maybe using something like PDAnet would help?

I haven't had a bad experience with Sprint CS, but then again I'm a 5 day old customer so..... nevertheless, I find that communicating respectfully via chat always leaves me satisfied (customerwise)

Guys. I have someone in my area selling a used Verizon Moto e4. Would it work w/ this promo since it was originally targeted at Verizon customers?

Hmm. Now that you mention it, I think I did read something similar in past posts. Sorry.
Just asked the same question to a Sprint rep who told me "yes" with a straight face - -". Trying to get something comparable or slightly better than the lg Stylo 3 Plus for one of my family members.

Does this plan allow change phone number? I have a line that is not ready to port to sprint yet, I am wondering if I can get a line right now, later port in my # on top of the existing #.
If I have SIM already, can I activate over the phone with sales to avoid paying 2.99 + shipping?
