Anyone try linking the Sprint Free Unlimited Plan with free AAA membership? That is a $66 savings at least for the year you are enrolled in the free plan. The FAQs seem to only restrict this to Sprint employee discounts and plans, but it seems risky to try it out if Sprint only offers one discount per account not combined or stacked discounts, and converts the free plan to the fully paid $60 plan.

For those who have double dipped via a different Social Security Number to extend expiration. I have a couple questions
1) SSN of both original users and new user are same address. Is this an issue?
2) Can you re-use the Sim cards and phones? ie keeping the Sprint de-activated Sim cards and re-use when porting back in under new SSN
3) What is the safest time gap? One week ? One day?

1. No issues.
2. Yes. Sims can be re-used/reactivated.
3. For same ssn 45 days...for different ssn use 1 day should be good enough.

Time gap with a different ssn can be 1 hour, check imei and phone number on the free byod checker and if it says even after 15 minutes.... You're good to go!

So if I get in on the s8 cricket deal (and get it unlocked) can I swap it with my current phone to my Sprint free account even though it's been only two months? My 6p battery is toast.

Dumb questions...but too many posts to go through all of it:

1. Do I need to buy a SIM card> Reading posts it sounds like I can call to activate because I already have a Sprint SIM.

2. I have several old iPhone 6's around. They are no longer being used. How do I check if they are eligible? I don't want to use the phone number that use to be associated with the phone cause I gave them up. Do I have to port an active number?

Thanks for answering...

What's the safest process to double dip via a different Social Security Number to extend expiration? Do I have to port out and port back in?

THANK YOU!!!

Last dumb questions (if you can believe that)...

- Do I just need an active number and I'm good to go? Doesn't really have to have ever been associated with the phone therefore a googlevoice number will suffice?
- Anyone know approximate monthly cost, cause it looks like a bunch of taxes you have to pay?
- And unless I'm not understanding correctly, I can terminate any time without penalty? I might not keep this past a year cause don't know if I can teach my parents to use a smart phone.

All are true.
Average $3.50 a month per line.
Since you can put on any free and clear postpaid Sprint phone as well as the mostly non-Sprint phones listed explicitly, you can put a Sprint Dura XT Flip Phone on. I did. $15 on Ebay. However it may not even have all the newer voice band capabilities so you may get poor voice quality depending on where you live and you may be better off to get a more recent, more expensive model (either flip or smart) that does. I do not have time to research those but you can.

I have a current sprint phone thats paid off and unlocked no contract on a sprint plan under someone elses name. I would like the quickest and cheapest way to port the phone somewhere else then back to sprint under my name that doesn't have an account yet. Would i have to buy a different sim if i dont need to use the phone until its back on sprint? Thanks

No you do not need a new sim. Sprint sims are not tracked and never expire and are always reusable.
