Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

If you were a Sprint customer a few years ago and switched to Verizon, can you still go for this deal and return to Sprint for free?
absolutely. i think someone said you just needed a break of 45 days from when you closed your account/lines to be eligible again.

Having some problems. Trying on a (never locked) Moto E4 that is currently on page plus. Went through everything just fine online, sim arrived (is the correct SIMOLW416Q) and completed setup online, got to the order confirmation page that said I was good to go and should be active n 10 minutes. That was bout 3 hours ago. When I check activation online it says it's already been entered. However, I keep getting the "invalid SIM card" notification in the hidden menus. Tried dialing ##8732834# and rebooting (per note from Wiki) with no luck. Any suggestions? Is Page Plus not releasing the port? Any one experience anything similar?

Make sure your Moto E4 is NOT a Verizon prepaid E4 phone. That will never work on Sprint.

Anyone here uses Sprint SIMOLW506C for your S8 Plus? How can you tell if the rep at Sprint store gives you the right SIM for your phone because the outside of Sprint CSIM V1 Activation Kit only has ICCID visible?

Right above the ICCID # is the UPC code #, it should be: 760492034500.

But just open the envelope and the correct part #, SIMOLW506C, should be on the plastic Sim holder.
If not correct, just ask for the correct part #.

Sim for all S8/8+ models ends in 416Q, not the part number you mention which will not work.

Thanks. It's definitely not a Verizon E4, i bought it unlocked directly from Moto. The #*#72786#*# did indeed reset things (other code hadn't) but still getting the same error. I guess I'll have to call Sprint porting department (shudder), I've heard nothing good about their customer service.

Comintel above is right. You need SIMOLW416Q.

If not correct, just ask for the correct part #.

The SIMOLW416Q sim card part is very common and most Sprint Corporate stores will have it, while the SIMOLW506C pat # not so common and may not be in stock.
Sprint Dealer stores usually have these cards but they charge $25 for them.

They're pretty good there.
The port should take about 15 mins or less.

You probably know that PagePlusCellular is part of the Tracfone system.
The "invalid SIM card" notification usually means that the phone is LOCKED!
Extremely unlikely, but possible, that the Sim card you got is defective and you may need to replace it.

There is nothing wrong with their port department customer service that I have seen but that sounds more like a device issue than a phone number issue.

Porting relates to numbers not to devices and would have no effect on device activation (unless PagePlus releases a lock on port out I suppose).

PagePlus may have locked the phone.

But do check 866-437-1818 which will, as noted above, at least tell you if the port is complete (it is partly automated).

I think your case is a bit of a mystery because if the phone really is unlocked, you should be able to activate it on Sprint regardless of the port status of your phone number, which is sort of unrelated.

T-mobile seems to be 24/7 porting in and out. Sprint's BYOD line is open from 6am-11pm CST. They refer you to use chat on their website during off hours, but it didn't popup for me. Had to wake up at 6am CST today to port in.
OK, I'd like to wrap this all up in one night. Port out to tmobile around 8pm, then port back in around 1030pm to sprint with different social. Done, free year and $1000+ saved.

I would double check the hours they are open. I have heard different ones ( 9 pm). . It may vary by day of week.

I think they port 24 hours but the question is what hours is port department customer service open in case something goes wrong. .

You would be best off to leave lots of time.

Thanks, I'll give them call in a bit here. There is no way it should be locked, as it was bought unlocked from Moto/Lenovo website and I can't imagine PagePlus could then Lock it afterwards.

Glad to hear that about Sprint's port department. Will give them a call in a bit and see. Yep, phone really is (well should be) unlocked, unless PagePLus locked it when I brought it over (purchased unlocked from Moto/Lenovo website). But I didn't know they could do that, can they? Eitherway, I should know more shortly.

Loving this deal so much. I activated an ancient HTC One M7 just so I could install Android Auto and leave it permanently connected to the stereo in my wife's car. Took a while to get it up and running (first to get Sprint data to work then to update the Rom past Android 5.0 so I could install AA), but all the work was worth it -- it's working like a dream.

Oh, I also ordered an Orbic Wonder for $68 off eBay with the coupon the other day as someone suggested. Man, that's a very nice phone for that price or anywher enear it. If anybody is looking for a cheap phone to do this deal, I suggest seeing if there's any on eBay still. They were $80 before coupon...

For peace of mind go to a Sprint store and request one. It should be free or $2.99.
Then you'll need to do an ICCID # swap with Sprint.
ICCID # and IMEI # are attached to each other with Sprint.
During your original registration setup online were the ICCID # and IMEI # registered to each other?
