Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I assume you mean port it on top of your first number.

Some have done it successfully but you have to do it just right so it is better not to unless you know your way around.

One person was refused or his account was cancelled, I forget which.

But you could port in a second phone with the second number and then swap numbers.

I started a new line of service to get this deal a few weeks back, if I want to add a second line and port a number from AT&T will the new line automatically be free? Do I add the line online or call customer support?
Wondering the same!

Call.

I moved two lines out of Sprint. Called and created a new account with Sprint after a day. Ported back one line and moved the second line next day to this new Sprint account. Customer Rep was super helpful both times. Almost no questions asked.

I re-used my Sprint sims. Customer rep didn't ask where I got them. All I said was along the the lines of "I have a sprint SIM card and would like to activate a new line on BYOD free plan"

What's the cheapest compatible phone that would be eligible for this deal? I'm trying to help a couple friends get in before it's over.
I think moto 4. I'm looking for a phone too, anything on sale?

Something is wrong.

I clicked the link at the first page, insert my MOTO X pure IMEI and phone number(Verizon MVNO). I was eligible and then passed credit check and order SIM card for $14.

On May 10th 2018, SIM card arrive and activated followed the website that SIM card shown. initial bill was $0 and number port to Sprint within 1 day. So far so good.

Now I received a bill from Sprint and charged me $66.80
May 10-Jun 09
Unimited Freedom MRC $65
$5 AutoPay Plan discount
Sprint Surcharges $4.13
Gove Fees $2.67

What is that?
There was no plan choice when I activate the phone.

Was able to port from Sprint BYOD to Tmobile and port back to Sprint BYOD using a different SSN. Used two TMobile SIM starter kits from Amazon to port out and re-used the Sprint SIMs to come back to Sprint. Service until 5/17/19.

Took a couple of hours being on the phone with Tmobile and Sprint but worth it.

Really bad idea for any substantial usage/HD content/etc.
Given Sprint's relatively bad/low down/up online speeds in many areas of the country, it'll probably be a frustrating experience for high usage.
Besides, the more Sprint people who do this the lower the speeds everyone on the Sprint network will be experiencing.

The 5G cell system coming out next year will have speeds high enough to replace wired services like cable/Fios/etc., but it will not be free.
BUT it will increase competition with all wired and satellite services, most likely keeping prices down to reasonable levels.
Been a user since June 2017. This is one of the best deals on slickdeals in the last few years ( considering multiple lines and heavy usage of data more than 15gb on each line and host spot ).
Voice - almost 100 % coverage and no issues inside buildings or elevators. TMO is the worst in my opinion, no coverage inside buildings or elevators.
I traveled different states on road trips and used heavily in few places across states and was always getting good speeds. Areas with good coverage and a good phone ( with triple bands ) I got about 50+ Mbps. Low speeds - very few places - about 1 -2 Mbps.
I faced issues when I had to deal with customer care. Don't ever take help from store people with this plan. They will change the plan and we will never get it back.
Considering the benefits I renewed again on another user account.
Edit - I also used the hotspot for couple of days for youtube and apple tv. It worked great and signal never disconnected.

That is a paid plan called Unlimited Freedom. You are not on the Free plan.

Use Billing chat to get corrected. That way you get a transcript to document.

Have you seen anyone who recently signed up get the email showing 5/17/18 expiration. I've only seen one user report of this.
Fortunately we got good followups to your post with new copies of this notice.

I guess if one wanted to confirm one could do chat and paste in the text and ask them to kindly confirm the end date was correct.

I bought the phones last year from B.B. on my account then ported out after a few days and signed up under wife's Ssn for byod plan. Should I port out just one phone initially to make sure I can get a byod plan using my ssn or is it less hassle to do all at one time? Any risk I will still show in the system as having a Sprint account now and be denied byod plan?

I'm new to Slickdeals, I love this deal! I'm curious to know what other deals did you find, were this good, in the past?
