Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Try *#*#72786#*#*
I just got my number ported from Sprint to TMO and back to Sprint (on my Wife's a/c)
Had to reboot the phone multiple times.

That's great progress!
I do not think you have mentioned what phones they are but
(1) If you do still have a borrowed phone call the (partly-automated) port center at 866-437-1818 and verify the ports have completed. They can also help you get it working
(2) You most likely just need to
-"Reactivate" in Settings
-Reset Carrier Data
-Update Profile
-Update PRL
-Power cycle

Wooo hoooo You fix it! Now my S8+ is working, now doing it on MOTO g5+. Is update Profile same as Update device config?
On the G5plus - settings>backup and reset> network settings reset

or settings>wireless and networks> more>mobile networks>carrier settings>update device config

wooo hooooo now both phones are working, thanks to you guys!!! did the device config instead of network settings reset.

Somebody should add to the wiki not to port every phone lines in one instantly or they will have a problem like I did!

I love Slickdeals forum community!!!!

I have opened a 2nd account with Sprint from a spare phone I had. I have 2 other lines from the 1st account that I want to transfer to this 2nd account to get another year of promotion. I am told by the chat that I can just do change of ownership? If you can do this then you don't have to go through the process of porting out to TM and then back to Sprint and you can keep the same phone numbers. Has anyone done this? I am leery about they not honouring the terms of contracts since it will be sprint to sprint transfer for the secondary lines. The 2nd account was open was transferring Tmobile number.

Hey buddy...so I got Moto G6 play and it shows eligible when I check on 1year eligiblity page.... So can I open without any issues now or should I first successfully activate on free line porting from att....what do you suggest...

Also one weird thing is the box says "this product contains chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm"...

This is the first time I saw it on a phone box... So it seems it is not safe to use even though we are not in California because something harmful would be having effects in any state...perhaps states have different ratings or limits to say it unsafe....but should we really use such a product
What do you think guys?

That's a California mandated warning - I have seen it on other phones - I would not worry about it.

Moto is just saving money by not having different packaging in and outside California as others do.

I do not see any point opening the box until it is successfully activated, just in case. I have usually done that anyway for other phones.

You have given little background to go on so this is shooting in the dark but if it was ever on a Sprint mvno you will have to get the ownership flag flipped back to SPCS to use on postpaid - search this thread for LiterallyUnlimited.

Hi, phone has never been used on anything related to Sprint. Only been on AT&T. Oh well.

Try running through Ting BYOD checker. Some people have had luck where it pushes it into sprint database.

You are only at the beginning of possibilities. It should be possible to get it on once you thoroughly explore the situation.

Try calling in if you have not done so.

There is a good chance it will go on if you call despite the online checker.

Also try edog11's suggestion and post what Ting says.

Also try https://www.sprint.com/en/shop/br...?INTNAV=LP
