Thanks it says it waived my $30.00 activation fee but then it says

Applied within 3 invoices"

I can't view my bill yet, but it says I have the free unlimted plan until July 31,2019 on the My Sprint account page.

Also, my data isn't working, it says 1x or extended and I can hardly send a text unless I'm connected to wi-fi calling. I already restarted my phone but that didn't help. Any ideas?

Thank you!
Aw went through the same challenge--I had to stand outside for mine to work but texts seem to go through ok now. I did work with tech support and they had me doing a few things I had done already and then they said they would check towers in my area. I'm guess not much got done with the towers but the phone works in other buildings that I've been in. They didn't have a challenge trouble shooting the Boost Moto G6 Play.

Sprint sent me the Magic Box instead of the Airave and I called them and they said the Airave isn't available anymore but I see it on the website so I guess I will call them back again.

The people in this thread were a lot of help too. I tried everything they suggested and I think it got a little better. Hard to say because we really don't know how many calls and texts we miss.

One thing about porting a number---wow am I getting a lot of calls from those numbers and not sure how to get rid of them other the paying for the blocking. Anyone have any suggestions?? Having a google number forward in doesn't help with all the other calls that I'm receiving.

Activated on Saturday and got my first bill yesterday. $3.81 vs $70-ish for Verizon. So glad I found this!

I just put Mr. Number on my phone and it stops all the spam calls. If a call gets through I just add it to my block list. I never answer any calls from numbers I don't recognized or expecting a call from.

Not sure what kind of phone you have, but do a carrier reset along with update prl, update device config and then reboot and see if that helps.

Just signed up my line, kudos to everyone who contributed to the wiki.

One thing I did that I'm now thinking might be a problem is I wanted to transfer 1 of my families lines over first to make sure everything worked well before doing the other. However now I'm wondering if I'll be able to add a 2nd line on this plan (after the fact) and is it going to run my credit a 2nd time?

Anyone have any experience with this?

Also, anyone who comes from a former MVNO (Fi, Ting etc) and gets an error "Sorry, but our records show you still owe Sprint for this device", it is probably because the phone is flagged for MVNO usage on Sprint. I contacted Fi support and asked them to flip the flag from PLBL to SPCS and they took care of it. Don't bother trying to ask Sprint to do it, they had no idea what I was talking about, transferred me 5 times and the ONE person who did know what I was talking about said he couldn't do it unless I was a Sprint customer....

I've added 2 more phones to the service and haven't noticed another credit check. I think once they do a credit check your good to go as long as you have decent credit. If your adding another line--call the number in the wiki for the BYOD. You can't do it online.

Yeah, I assumed I wouldn't be able to do it online as that method creates the account at the same time. Thank you for confirming they could do it after the fact for you, thought I made a huge mistake there for a second haha.

My port to T-Mobile is in progress, so I'll know for sure tomorrow. Thanks again!

Correct, all postpaid plans pull your credit once when you initially set up a new account. All additional lines that are added to the main line aren't checked for credit, they are listed as additional lines.

You can try these for iPhone but usually the phone is recognizing sprint service. Google Voice usually has delays. There used to be a link to check porting status directly but sprint shut it down and now just redirects to mysprint.

1-Reset Subscriber Settings (Carrier Reset)
Go to dial pad as though you're about to dial a phone number
Enter # # 25327 #
Tap Call
A "Reset Subscriber Settings" message will appear - tap OK
Wait 5-10 seconds; the signal notification will display "Searching" on the top left of the screen
When the phone shows a signal again, the phone is ready to use

2-Service Update (Profile & PRL Update)
Connect to a Wi-Fi network
Tap the phone app
Dial # # 873283 #
Tap Call
"Starting Service Update" message will appear - tap OK
If update is successful "Service Update Complete" message will appear after about a minute - tap OK

3-Check for an old LTE APN profile and delete it.
The problem was due to a Profile named "LTE APN". (Settings>General>Profiles - Right below "VPN". There may not be "Profile" on the Menu, depending on the carrier used before.). Deleted this Profile, then LTE Data signal showed up! This Profile was probably from the previous carrier.

Thanks for the info! Unfortunately it's my area of the home and nothing to do with my phone's settings. When I was with Cricket, AT&T prepaid and MetroPCS I would always have one bar on LTE and would always drops calls in my room if I wasn't on wifi calling. But on sprint I can't even make calls.

Today was my first time using the service outside and halfway through my development on my way to work this morning I had 3 bars on 3G. Once I hit the road I had 2 to 4 bars of LTE. I actually have better coverage in my office on sprint than on MetroPCS, but I'm on wifi-calling so that doesn't really matter. Really happy I bit the bullet and signed up. It's very simple to do if you know your phones and are only setting up one line.

Guys and Gals...

Is anyone adding Kickstart plan of $15?

I think this one year free plan is better than $15....

What r ur views because today is last date for Kickstart plan...should I go for it or not?

Are you guys getting it or staying with free year plan with new SSN?

I think I'm going for another free year. Kickstart will be at least $360 for my wife and me. I figure in a year from now I may be able to get a plan around the same value so I'll save the $360 up front.

So I'm due from my upgrade through this plan (completed 4 months), is there any promotion that can be stacked with the upgrade?

Can anyone please clarify this regarding the Sprint $15 Kickstart Plan ... if I go with the Sprint Free Plan => T-Mobile Port => Port Back to Sprint route to get the $15 plan,

1) Can I reuse the existing old account Sprint Account to add a line? (I currently have two lines on Sprint Free Plan, one will still remain active after port out)?

2) Can the port to T-Mobile and back to Sprint everything be done in 1 day (today last day)? Also, during porting back to Sprint, can I do this online or have to call Sprint?

Thanks!
