Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Comes with it. The ICCID(sim) number is on the box.
Thanks! Do I provide them the MEID(HEX) or MEID(DEC)? I heard one shows the "true" identity that it is Boost Mobile and the other hides it

Sprint is making everything so damn hard.
I mean you have to Chat to swap your phone. What year is this? All other cell phone companies let customers to swap their phone Online.
No wonder why people hate Sprint.

So I got my iP4s activated now! BUT service is not working, which isnt a big concern now since I got the last line ported back in from Tmo.

Re: iP4s swap - i called into Sprint since I wasnt getting any updates and got lucky that I found an agent actually able to help. He was able to activate based on the MEID vs IMEI. In basic, he told me he followed directions to get the swap to work - when he first tried IMEI and got an error code, then looked up the error code which advised him to use the MEID and it worked. Moral: level of service with Sprint is unpredictable so dont just rely on one agent - call back and even if they tell you "they created a ticket" or "will call you back". In my case, they just closed the ticket without even resolving one way or other.

To get my iP4s working, I will need a new SIM apparently. Agent tried to get me one through the order but they didnt have iP4s SIMs (old phone so makes sense). Any thoughts on where I can get one? They suggested corp store or I was thinking apple store but i think it will be slim chances.
Sprint's system really uses MEID's internally and pretends to use IMEI's for appearance sake so it makes sense that for an old phone MEID's would be easier.

Please note I corrected my prior post. Apple Sprint iPhone 4 does not use a sim. It does not support LTE.

Experiment with the settings to see if you can get CDMA working.

But I don't know how to access IMEI. After turning on it asks for the sim card to continue, how to bypass it? It's an iPhone and not so easy to remove the battery.
Someone may have a way and post.

Or get a Sprint iPhone 6S sim card free at most apple stores.
Not free, they want $10 for my 6 Plus at a Sprint store on the way home from work.

That is interesting. I recall when i swapped the iP4s on the first byod, i gave them sim # to do the swap. At that time the iP4s was previous on sprint but hadnt been used in awhile but swap happened easily. I attributed the difficulties this time to having ported it to Tmo. I was heading to try and get a new sim for iP4s so you think that will be fruitless? I do recall the agent confirming with me that LTE will not work as it is not LTE phone.

I was able to see my IMEI after logged in my account.

Now I need help from experts for my case:

1. My Primary phone # on my old iPhone 6 Plus transferred to my iPhone 7 Plus about two years ago and the 6 Plus is unlocked.

2. My Secondary # was ported out of Sprint quite a few years ago --->Tracfone ---> RingPlus ---> Google Voice NOW but still locked.

3. My Old Unlocked 6 Plus was used with Verizon for my daughter for about a year and later she got a different phone now so it's free to use.

4. I want to port into Sprint Free 1 Year my Secondary # on Google Voice using my Old Unlocked 6 Plus.

What steps do I need to do?

Hello,

I am on Virgin mobile free 1 year plan expiring 8/28/18. I put the IMEI of my unlocked iPhone 6s plus and current phone number into sprint website and it says ineligible. A couple of questions:

1. Can I use Verizon post-paid SIM card to port out of Virgin? Can I use deactivated T-mobile prepaid SIM card?

2. Will my iPhone get released after I port out from Virgin?

3. Hard or soft credit check?

Thank you.

Do Not count on Sprint's roaming.

The roaming config is set such that your phone will hold on to the weakest Sprint 1x signal even if there is a full bar prefect T-Mobile LTE data.
