I guess they ran away (to another address) after they failed to pay Sprint $1000? Who is going to find and catch them?
I have very limited info other than the name of the person, they wouldn't tell me much. I would like to know how long ago it was, and I don't want it getting reported to the credit bureaus.

How does one pass a credit check with the wrong name? I wonder if they gave my correct date of birth as well? Maybe someone fat fingered the SSN at Sprint and when the credit check failed, put it through any ways?

One is a minor, the other two are my parents. My brother just signed up for another year, so we could at least put four of the five lines on his account if need be.
Sure you could put them on them on there temporarily while you hopefully sort out your own account and hopefully they keep extending the promo (after all we will know about July this weekend).

I am in a difficult situation, I ported out 6 last years line (from 2 different plans) to T-Mobile virtual sims, 4 went smooth. After a period of one week later, I couldn't port back in the remaining two lines due to incorrect T-Mobile pin?? I set up the same pin for all 6 lines (it was the same pin as my ported out account that time so 6-digits, but T-Mobile uses 4-digits; I am a bit confused how the 6-digit pin has been working all these time when porting the first 4 lines in).

Now, I was told to go to T-Mobile store to show identity. Well, my family member did but they said something didn't match.

I remember someone posted about T-Mobile changing the pins on those virtual accounts, but I couldn't find those post. Can someone point me back to those posts (pages)? Can share any workaround?

Thanks, guys!

TMO Prepaid Pins set at the account level are 4 digits but porting pins set on individual lines are 6 digits. Some TMO sim vendors use one approach and some the other.

If both pins are set, the 6 digit one overrides on those lines on which one is set. Otherwise it is the 4 digit one.

If you can find the original 4 digit account level pin, that may do the trick.

If not, just keep beating up on TMO (or trying different pins) until they give in. I would provide a sworn affidavit that the numbers belong to you and attach proof of that from their use on Sprint immediately prior and including everything you stated here..

Others may have ideas too.

Those who activated Boost Mobile Moto G6 Play on this free plan, do the wifi hotspot and usb tethering work out of the box for sharing data without additional hotspot plan or do you have to root, tweak or install 3rd party app to share data via wifi and usb?

I had similar issues, spoke with tmobile and they said it is set to 4 digits. Called back sprint and provided first 4 digits of the 6 i had initially setup and it worked.

Thanks a lot!! I will try again, I gave them the first 4 before, but maybe +1 prefix issue? I will try different combinations on the transfer status page!

Thanks, I will try cracking on the prepaid customer service number. It's - you wanna refill: No, then balance and minutes remaining (here they ask for pin) Smilie

I did a sprint note 5. You're not actually putting the phone on tmobile, just the number so it should work with no issues.
