Then here is the tldr version; http://sprint.com/1yearfree

Good luck! I switched a prepaid total wireless phone to sprint using instructions in the OP and wiki on page 1. It took me all of 15 minutes.

I'm trying to do this with a Sprint Galaxy S9+ and they're telling me it can't be activated. The phone comes up clear when I run an IMEI check and it shows as eligible when I check on the BYOD 1 Year site. They've created a support ticket to check this out. Anyone else have a similar experience?

So I did some porting to T-Mobile and out again. I used the SIM's bought on amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LPPHHFK/ these SIMs now create a non phone number related account number when you activate them online. The confirmation page shows the account number and the confirmation email also shows the account number. Of course I didn't trust that so I had some problems porting out using the old 1+Phone number as the account number and finally realized that yes I need to use that other account number. So things have changed on the T-Mobile account number side for some SIM activations.

Hey so three posts above your question provides the sprint link for the offer, go ahead an click on that link to see if the offer is still active. No one knows when it will end so its best if you verify yourself when you are ready to jump on the offer.

Is the plan still available? Where do I go to get one for my device?
Quote from DavidPumpkins :
What happened with your next bill? Did you get a prorated credit for the TEP charge?

I saw the charge just minutes after the phone was activated and removed it. Looking at my first bill a week later, I'm seeing the $9 TEP charge. If I shouldn't expect them to automatically credit me on the 2nd bill, I guess I can only call/chat to get the charge removed?

I will call them and post the answer in a few weeks.

If the site says my phone is eligible, does that mean I am eligible and my phone will work on Sprint? It is a Tmobile iPhone 6s plus

I did. it says my phone is eligible. But I see it says Sprint is CDMA. My phone uses a Sim card. Just don't want to lose my Tmobile plan if Sprint isn't going to work.
I need to find out if my phone us CDMA & gsm so far looks like just gsm

The fact that everyone posting all around you is signing up gives you the answer - yes it is.

Nowadays, all are LTE carriers, all needs SIM card.
iPhone 6 plus is compatible with GSM\CDMA\WCDMA\LTE..
once it is on Sprint, you can swap the t-mobile SIM to back on t-mobile network at anytime

Call or chat to get it credited. Ask for a supervisor if front line is not willing to credit
