Yes, you should also be see your account and pin online at your sprint account.
Thanks for reply. The T-mobile CSR said that the port-in is in progress. I'll get a confirmation text message once it completes. Since i used an EBay sim # only deal, how do I know when the process is complete? Per wiki, I've checked Sprint OM Dashboard (Orders & Transfers). Does it show info on number porting out of Sprint or only to Sprint? Any other ways to verify like if the line is ported out to T-mobile, would it stop showing up on my Sprint Dashboard?

You cannot use existing sims if you do it online. It will force a needless sale of new sims.

I agree TMO port support is absolutely atrocious.

Thanks for the info. As a quick update, TMO called me back after 1.5 hr wait and made me wait some more. On the + side, the rep I got was really nice and helpful, unfortunately the SIM I had (which cleared as OK on their BYOB Checker) was not valid so my port had to be postponed.

So I went and bought a digital SIM off ebay. I thought I would get something messaged back instantly but did not. How long do those usually take to be messaged?

Oh the joys of being frugal. LMAO

Anyone know if the free year service includes Sprint open world? Do I have to call in or is it already activated? I checked on my online account and do not see it listed anywhere. TIA

Yes it is included and does not need to be activated.

Except that is an older name for it.

Are international services included?
Yes, our 1 Year Free Unlimited plan includes Sprint Global Roaming, which includes data up to 2G speeds and text messaging in any of our 185+ international destinations at no charge, plus calling for just $0.20 a minute.
It does not include Sprint's Premium International Experience for calling to and roaming in Canada & Mexico.
It does not include calling from the U.S. to international locations, but you can easily add international calling to your plan.

It depends on the seller. Some are great. Some are terrible. Some may be criminal enterprises out to steal some numbers.

This is a euphemism for they have no idea what the status is (they never do) but there may be a problem.

If it works it should work reasonably quickly. Except it is now late so the porting support departments are closing down. Port are best done early in the day.

This thread is so long and comprhensive it already mentioned the Luhn algorithm as far back as June 2017.
Could be but it wasn't in the wiki, and I'm not about to scour through hundreds of pages. This deal could end on the 31st and I'd still be in the prologue of this thread. Just glad to have some helpful folks on here, which should be encouraged, not the other way around.

This is not the first time you have shown you remember a lot if it. I remember quite a bit too but not as much as you.

Tried to sign up online with my wife's SSN and got the stupid credit error issue. I'll call in the morning but I expect they'll tell me she has to go in store to verify id. I didn't have the issue last year when I signed up using my SSN.

By the way, has anyone confirmed that signups will be available into September?

Hoping volte shows up soon too.

You cannot confirm anything about future dates beyond at most one month (and I would doubt even that).- Sprint would be fools to do so - even to their own staff - but the end of savings date being Sept. 30 2019 hints that it may well be open through Sept.

VoLTE is supposed to be "this Fall" which could be any time through year end.
