The correct valuation of having to deal with dropped business calls, spotty data service, and daily headaches in general is where Sprint pays me to use their service. It's seriously that sh*tty.

Yes, first world problems.
You came here just to threadcrap? All carriers drop calls occasionally. That's real world!

one last question. I have some spare sim cards from old phones. is there a way to identify the sim card type by the numbers on the card itself? im not to sure of the sku because its just the nano card itself. I was on the phone with sales but they wanted to activate my account however i didnt want to proceed without ensuring my card would be compatible with the devices. (verizon samsung galaxy s8 and samsung note8 verizon)

Hi,
Does this mean that your phone is also unlocked to be used internationally as well? Besides domestically of course, ATT, TMobile etc...
This is not unlocking as the term is defined. Only S8 phones that are already unlocked by the original carrier will switch brand when another carrier sim is inserted.

This feature only applies between U.S. brands.

As to international unlocking, the unlocking policy of the original carrier would apply, whatever it is. (Sprint will unlock Sprint phones for for both domestic. and international after 50 days, but here we were talking about a Verizon phone so what would apply would be Verizon's policy).

Yeah. I don't understand some of the posts that say things like, "Oh, we had Sprint for years and had nothing but problems." What?! Why YEARS? If Sprint sucked so bad for you, move on to a different carrier.

We've been very fortunate with this promo. 10 months in and we're finding our coverage to be slightly better than our former carrier, T-Mobile. Customer service has been excellent online, in-store, and by phone. We may not stay after the year just because we'd prefer to pay $30 or less per line, but we're sure enjoying the service we have now.

I doubt it is worth the trouble when you can get any sim for $2.99 delivered from Twigby.

Both of the phones you have require a sim with part number ending in 416Q.

You could look through https://s4gru.com/forums/topic/78...ity-chart/ and other such charts and see how far you can get if you even have had any phones that would have used 416Q. There were only a limited number of such phones and there have been numerous sim parts numbers, many now obsolete.

cannot agree more

i feel same...

look if it doesnt work, i dont care how little it costs..is not good deal
but when they stay for YEARS there is a reason....typically casue the price is so mych better than V, ATT, TM

i always encourage folks to vote with their wallet..a company does u wrong..do not go back..period...but if u keep going back..dont bi$%^ about it....

Yes it will and has worked from the beginning one year ago as reported successful on just about every page of this thread and all over the wiki. You can even use GV, FP, whatever. except Sprint mvno numbers.

Go with what people are actually doing.

Yes I saw the success stories, but still, I thought maybe these guys just got lucky or something.. Tomorrow I can get to the Apple store for a tmo sim and then go from there.
