Tello is a Sprint mvno so you are considered to be active with sprint and don't qualify for this deal.
Your phone number will not qualify, you need to port to a non-sprint carrier to have it qualify for this deal.
Your phone will not qualify as it is considered active on sprint. You need to make it inactive by porting out of tello, cancelling account or replacing it with another device. Also Sprint flags phones used on sprint mvno's or pre-paid(PLBL). This flag on the phone needs to be changed to SPCS before being able to qualify for this deal. Literallyunlimited on reddit can change this for you but phone needs to be inactive first.
how do i message someone on the reddit forum mentioned above? I was told, I am not allowed to message here

WOW! This thread is still going.

My year is up this month and I'll be paying the $64/$45/$35 starting in September.

Are there any other good unlimited plans on another carrier which will be cheaper. This was great!!! I was paying about $13/mo for a year.

Thanks SD.
Go for another year with a diferent SSN. See wiki for details.

I added a new line to my existing free 1 year plan. I noticed that the new line was allowing to get Hulu for free and I subscribed for it. Lets see if I am going to be charged anything for that.
You better double check to see if they put that new line on the $60/mo. unlimited plan. It's been known to happen.

"If you are existing Sprint postpaid customer in the last 45 days, you will need a new SSN (friend/ family). If you are porting from a Sprint MVNO you don't need a new SSN as long as you weren't a Sprint postpaid customer in the last 45 days."

I dont understand. How can you use a friends social security number? isn't a social security number associated with a name? Wont they know right away that i'm giving them the wrong social security number?

A willing friend, spouse or family member? And yes, they will have to be on the call for the credit check and credit questions but you can help on the call with the proper phone info.

I have a non Sprint/Boost unlocked Moto G4 play. I guess I should verify the Sprint LTE bands will work. I found this info on the Motorola website, Moto G Play - XT1607 - CDMA (850, 1900 MHz) GSM / GPRS / EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz)
UMTS / HSPA+ (850, 900, 1700, 1900, 2100 MHz)
4G LTE (B1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 17, 25, 26, 41)
Yes those include the bands needed. It will work fine but since it is not Sprint or Boost branded, some Sprint specific features such as Wifi Calling, Visual Voicemail, and HPUE Signal Boost probably will not work. .

Also since it is not Sprint branded you will need to buy a sim card, which appears to be SIMGLW236C according to a chart I looked up

It is just a shortcut expression.

The idea is that you get the other person to open the account in their name and SSN to share with you for this purpose, which is perfectly legal..

You could not open it for them because you would not have all the details and would not be able to pass the identity questions.

I just ordered 3 sims at about $20. (transfering 3 numbers. )

How to activate the 3 sims after receiving them?

They will do 3 sims one by one?
They will automatically recognize promotion with my email and phone number?

You really need to read the wiki, but the simplest way is to call the telesales number 866-782-877. You will need your phone numbers, account number, and PIN for your current carrier. Sprint telesales will ask you for this information. They will also need the IMEI number of each phone and the ICCID number of each of the Sprint sim cards that will go with each phone. That's it in a nutshell.

I've an unlocked phone and if I sign for this service, would my device be locked to Sprint carrier for the first free year? I hope not, that way I can use one device for two different SIMs (Sprint/ATT) and no, it's not a dual SIM, unfortunately.
