How can I get a deal for second year with same social security number? How many days do I have to stay away? Has anyone attempted this?
Wow. You can easily find out by simply reading the wiki. That info is near the top.

On second look, this was such a detailed question asking specifically about things answered a million times before with answers near the top of the wiki. It's gotta be a joke, right?

Okay, dont call and give up ur ssn over the phone to these bastards. They are harvesting information. They disapproved my credit check citing I could have answered one of the questions they asked incorrectly. what a bs. I had my bro sign up and they denied on him too when we know we answered correctly and have good credit already. Learn from my mistakes. Thanks.
I plan to call in soon and want to be prepared. What questions did they ask?

questions about people that you would know, about businesses you might have opened in last five years, etc. All together four questions.

I was going to sign up to just have a free year of service then quit but it's not even worth the trouble. I'm currently with T-Mobile and have no intention of ever switching (T-Mobile is going to own Sprint anyways).

A few months ago I tried to get on the Kickstart for $15/mo and I couldn't even pass credit check (I have 850+ score by the way). Went through the trouble of signing up online multiple times without luck so I went to the store, waited an hour, spending a long time for rep to call their credit department and confirming I'm whom I am. They said because I was a past customer they didn't trust me to be the same person so I had to go through all these checks. What the hell why didn't they completely remove my account when I left 4 years ago. Anyways I couldn't even sign up for Kickstart at the store so they gave me a temporary account and told me to go home create an online account with the new account number, which I did. Try to add Kickstart and nope wouldn't let me, saying my account is not approved to add. Needless to say I gave up and I got dinged with a hard pull on my credit. Probably the worst carrier all around from top to bottom
FICO tops out at 850. Whatever 850+ score you were quoted wasn't your credit score

Huh, are these standard questions Sprint asks everyone trying to create an account for porting a line? Or, they were in your specific case, as perhaps they saw some question marks during the credit check?

He is right, you are behaving like a bully. Just because you had the smoothest experience doesn't mean that's true for everyone and I am going to site the number of questions on this thread as example. Calling people "classic loser" because they report something contrary to your experience is far from nice and polite.

Should work fine. My backup Pixel 2 XL on this plan traveled with me to Taiwan, Thailand and Colombia with 2G data connection. Didn't bring that phone when I was in Hong Kong and Singapore in November

The high volume of posts in this thread has NOTHING to do with the complexity of the deal. It is due to two things:

1) The general laziness and short attention span of the American consumer who can't be bothered to read more that 50 words deep into the OP, let alone the wiki and

2) People who reward the people in the first group by spoon feeding them answers in the wiki.

The people that ask for help and the people that help them are both at fault according to you. Speaking like a true bully.
