Hi.. I have an existing free plan and want to extend the plan.. When I call the customer care with new ssn number, Can I use the same email, name and address that I have currently enrolled with sprint? Or the ssn user details?

They never heard of "parked" and parked would not be eligible. They are just looking for a carrier name to type in to their screen. They could not care less what it is but have to have some carrier name to type in. You are supposed to be moving service from another carrier. I think I might say Numberbarn or Bandwidth.com (which they use).
Or just try another rep.
I ported by Number barn also. When the rep asked me which carrier you're porting from and I said TMO. Worked fine. As long as you have correct account number and pin if there's any, you shouldn't worry.

Do Sprint stores sell or give out SIM cards? I have an old AT&T iPhone 6 that I can use and have a GV number.

Also, any working codes for Boost Mobile? LABORDAY18 isn't working for me.

I suppose you are looking at at the end date on some internal Sprint schedule?

However, it says the offer ends Sept. 13 on the 0fficial Sprint video. I do not think they would say that if there was not at least a possibility they would stick to it.

You could end up being right, but we also have to give some heed and caution to the video.
All of that may be true, but this deal was originally supposed to end over a year ago. Since then it "was supposed to end soon" many times and is currently still going. Sprint desperately needs customers to compete with the other guys hence why you see almost all of the best phone deals from sprint. At this point I think they are doing the "ending soon" thing to hurry more and more customers to sign up as customers are likely to impulse sign up to try the deal and they don't care if you use the service they just need the numbers and stats to give to investors. While I believe this deal will eventually end at this point I'd say it will likely continue for awhile as this is the only deal that has brought in massive amounts of new customers for sprint. Sprint needs this deal as much as many other people need this deal.

You should be fine. But they need to talk to the SSN holder for credit Q's

Try a sprint corporate store. Most other stores will not. With the possible end of this promo coming, you should act quickly. Try best buy. Read the wiki section on sim cards.

Most but not all Apple stores will. Be sure you know your sim card number. Read the wiki to find out.

This promo has not brought in as many new customers as you think. Have you noticed all the new plans such as the $90/mo ultimate plan? At this point i think S needs the revenue. The network buildout and 5G preparations are costly. I expect this promo to end as quietly as it started. I hope your optimism pans out.

My understanding is that his wife's phone is currently on his dad's Sprint account. And he/they want to open a new Sprint byod free account with his wife's SSN using that same phone and number. In which case they would have to port in to and then out of NB. Which I think is still less of a hassle, especially if unsure of what you're doing. I think NB sends or gives you the port out info. Easier than a possible tmo snafu.
Yes this is correct. Im just concerned that when it goes through say Wednesday next week, I will be at work and my wife then won't have a working cell phone until we call sprint to change it which won't be until 5pm-ish.

Here is my situation. I have 3 lines on the sprint BYOD which will run out in November. I have one line on cricket. When I signed up for the sprint plan I screwed up the identity check and had to use my wife's social. I was hoping to port out/port in to renew in November and bring in the cricket number also but with the possibility of the sept 13 end date figured I would do it now.

My plan is to use the cricket account to sign up for the second year for sprint, then if I do not mess up the identity check for my social to port out the three lines using the t mobile ebay method and then to port them into the new sprint account that I set up with the cricket number. Any chance there will be a problem with this, as the three lines and the new sprint account will technically exist on sprint at the same time in two different accounts.

Also I was going to go to the boost store to get the g6 play for the cricket line (the cricket phone will not work on sprint), anyone having any difficulties with this phone working on the byod plan. Finally I was not going to remove the sims from the sprint line phones (one phone is an s8 and it was picky about the sim) and the g6 play has a sim, so I should not need any from sprint right? TIA

You'll have to find a work around for that. I have no idea how quickly porting in and out of NB will take. Lets ask a previous poster!

The boost store will not sell you a phone without activating it on boost. Order from boost online, but with time running out you may just have to buy from BB or walmart. I don't see any other problem with your plan but i would try to complete it before the 14th/13th

I signed up a week ago..the process was easy and fast..after giving all my info they ported my number form TMobile in 5 minutes..but after a week of usage I think I'm going to cancel ..the coverage in my area is awful, and they are not giving me the wifi calling options.. although my phone is capable of..also it seems stupid but I don't even get visual voicemail. The main thing obviously is the lack of coverage..
